Other than moving a little during the exam, I’m over the moon with her performance. First show, nice & windy, judge with hat & mask, what a way to enter the show ring for my little bear. 19.01.2022 Looking for her forever home in 2020 Aurora is a gorgeous & happy 9 month old girl who will be seeking a special home she can call her own in the next 2-4 weeks. I will be extremely particular in where she goes, so I shall be taking applications & choosing the best one that is suited for her, so please don’t be offended & understand that she will not be homed on a first come, first served basis. ... Aurora is fully house trained, crate trained, desexed, pedigree papered, microchipped, dna profiled & tested, eye tested, up to date on vaccs & worming. Must be a home where she is inside with her family, near the water or a pool & another submissive doggy companion would be advantageous. Due to the amazing support network that comes with her, she will only be available to prospective homes located in either New South Wales or Victoria. She is available for a small fee of $600 that will be donated in its entirety to Sweet Shepherd Rescue Australia Inc, a wonderful charity that we support. 06.01.2022 Just a proud little or should I say BIG brag With dog shows cancelled until who knows when, for a bit of fun Easy Dog Entries organised a Virtual all breeds dog show, judged via photographs (Stack, movement, head) by world reknowned judge Mr Andrew Brace (UK). This also included a critique, so for a $5 entry, I thought it was great value purely for that alone. I decided to enter Thor, seeing as our beloved boy can never be shown again in the real world, not only due t...o his offical retirement, but more obviously because he only has 3 legs after his hind amputation in January After each group is judged, the results are live-streamed on the Easy Dog Entries Facebook page. I eagerly watched last night & was thrilled that Thor was awarded Best of Breed. Only 4 WSS entries, but still, it was pretty cool & he received such a beautiful critique from the photographs I had provided. Then it was time for Group, Runner Up (BIG2) awarded to the Australian Shepherd SUP CH Ochaye I Am Prime, owned by T Thomas & B West. Now time for Best in Group... ooh who would it be? So many lovely dogs had flashed up on the screen. And then, appearing on my screen, my face frozen in surprise & elation, was THOR He had been selected as BEST IN WORKING DOG GROUP (BIG1) from 123 virtual entries! YAY! Could have knocked me over with a feather. He won $100 to spend with Advance, $50 Plush Puppy voucher & $75 Dog News Australia voucher. Let me reiterate, this show was organised & entered purely for fun, to give us a show fix when we are all missing out. The judge can only assess on the provided photos, so the results are not a true reflection on what would happen in real life. So in saying that, I’m still pretty excited that Thor won what would be his last ever BIG be it a virtual fun one

05.01.2022 Happy 11th Birthday to Thor (Sup Ch Vallgardens Ghostly Gladiator - Imp SWE) and Inga Ch Vallgardens Glitzy Glamour - Imp SWE) Thor loved his special birthday cake made by my son with number 11 sausages Thank you Lothar for taking & sending through Inga’s photo on her birthday. Didn’t those 11 years fly by

01.01.2022 Warning - confronting image attached The last few days have been a roller coaster of emotions... On Thursday we took our #1 special boy Thor (Sup. Ch Vallgårdens Ghostly Gladiator - Imp SWE) for what we thought would be xrays to confirm a torn cruciate, followed by surgery to repair. ... Heartbreakingly, the X-ray discovered that the cause of his sore leg was in fact Osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer. Unfortunately the long term prognosis is not good regardless of what option is chosen. After much deliberation, we opted to go down the path of removing the cause of his pain which has given him immediate relief. We won’t be doing chemo, it will not cure him, only prolong his life, Thor’s been an amazing boy to us & we’ve chosen quality of life over quantity. On Friday (yesterday), Thor had surgery to remove his hind left leg. He was sitting up 10 minutes following surgery, a real trooper! Today (Saturday) he came home (Yay!), I’m in awe of how incredible he’s adjusted to life on 3 legs in barely 24 hours, he’s my happy boy again! Other than bruising (and a hell of a lot of stitches!), the site is looking great & he should heal rather quickly. Thank you Dr Alicia Kasbarian (Cooinda Vets in Marulan) for recommending Dr Chris Papantonio from Colyton Vets, even though it was originally for a TPLO surgery! Him & his team did an amazing job, and nurse Amber O’Flynn kept me up to date on the entire process, appreciated beyond words! There are no miracle cures or potions, but we’ve switched him to an all raw diet free of preservatives & I’m making up a batch of golden paste tomorrow. I refuse to cling to false hope but I’ll try anything to help him Now, I will just love, care & spoil him until it metastasises (and it will, this cancer in an aggressive b*tch) & when the time comes for us to say goodbye, I shall farewell him with the dignity he deserves & will not let him suffer. They estimate we will only have him for 3-5 months every day from now will be a blessing, and any beyond that a gift to be treasured. Thank you to everyone in this journey for your support and advice, or those that have played a part in Thor’s amazing life, keep sending your love & prayers. And to my super brave Thor, I love you with all my heart, thank you for being the bestest boy in the whole entire world, you are my world
