15.01.2022 Hi all followers! Hope everyone has been well during these weird times! I have been getting a few messages on available pups. As we lost Holly in January the future of this prefix is very much up in the air as i have nothing to continue on with. With Sansa and Ivy desexed and Hades still standing as stud that's all I've got......if i know of any reputable breeder with pups i will certainly share and put a post up :) But I'm just enjoying my 3 amigo's and hopefully one day i can get them out doing weight pulling comps. Maybe in the very long time future i may add another to my addition to get back out into showing and maybe producing a litter but that's all just ideas at the moment. Anyways take care and hugs to all the EJSterling kids xxoo

05.01.2022 Did you know that there isn't actually a breed called an English Staffy? The name of the breed is Staffordshire bull te...rrier (SBT). ? The breed originated in the city of Birmingham and in the Black Country of Staffordshire (England) from cross-breeding between the Bulldog and the English white terrier. As time went on, the breed was developed into taller dogs with larger builds than their English counterparts and these were called an American Staffordshire Terrier (Amstaff). The smaller English breed was registered with the American Kennel Club in 1936 as the Staffordshire terrier. The name was changed in 1972 to differentiate between the shorter, smaller English version (today's Staffordshire bull terrier) and the American version. - and they and their crossbreeds can be found in large numbers in pounds. There are countless backyard breeders of these dogs, many of them trying to cash in on more desired colours such as Blues - whatever you do, do not pay more for a blue and make sure the parents are not affected by skin allergies which seem to be rising in this breed. . There are DNA health tests as well as x-rays and other medical tests that should be conducted on the parents so make sure you understand what they are. & ( ) https://www.dogzonline.com.au//american-staffordshire-terr & ( ) https://www.dogzonline.com.au//staffordshire-bull-terrier. When dog shows return (Covid-19), head out and meet them in person to see if they are the type of dog that is suited to your family and environment.
