With both hands, simply bring up your i...ndex and middle fingers together onto the forehead above each eyebrow, and hold your thumbs on the temple area of your forehead (sides of forehead). Gently hold this position for a while, or until you can feel your pulse. . How does it work? Holding the temporal area (side of forehead) helps to release stress on a subconscious level, and pressing on the forehead area above the eyes helps bring blood flow to the frontal lobe (front brain), which stimulates the processing of events that are occurring in the present moment. In addition to that, when the front brain is activated we also tend to find new ways or solutions of looking at old problems. Activating the temporal and frontal areas of the brain by holding onto these specific points of the forehead is greatly beneficial, the ESR point method can bring us back to our senses and restores inside us a sense of calm.
