25.01.2022 TFS? We often get asked what it means. It's written in front of hundreds of tilt slide tray bodies serial numbers. Well I haven't actually worked it out, it's lost somewhere in Ekebol history. All i know is today it means "The Friday Showoff".... And what a showoff it is ! The first of the updated model FE Hino trucks joining a fleet of at least 10 TFS6000's fitted to the older model. This new shape FE is certainly going to be put to the test to see if it is any better in the real world.

18.01.2022 The Ekebol "Car body". It is a special moment when a company can say they have a traditional design. In this industry it is earned by being long standing and consistent in quality. Customers all around Australia have lived with or even grown up with our products as the backbones of their parents or grand parents businesses. This particular unit has combined the Car Body design with some modern elements such as the folding tail light bar and current style large capacity premium chain boxes with side access doors.

18.01.2022 TFS -The Friday Show-off. Our first official Friday Show-off comes from Noel at Mallacoota Automotive. Mallacoota is a small town from the East Gippsland region of Victoria. A town already well known by the people that contribute to it's seasonal influx of tourists. Recently the name became much more widely recognized when thousands of people where stranded by bush fire and then evacuated from the area via the water. ... Noels 2017 crew cab Isuzu fitted with a custom built Ekebol TFS6000 along with his workshop fortunately survived the events that unfolded and has been working full steam ahead since January as part of the cleanup efforts. Majority of the work unsurprisingly has been returning evacuated Holiday makers vehicles back to their rightful owners around the country. Noels Isuzu is unique in the fact that it is a larger capacity dual cab than what we normally see used for tilt tray applications. The long distances in which he has to transport his customers and the road conditions mean that the smaller models are not up to the job. The truck looks fantastic fitted with the bull-bar, custom sign writing, pin striping and cab accessories. A great example of a neat and versatile truck that gets down to work.

02.01.2022 Here at Ekebol we love giving old trucks new life ! (Especially when they get cleaned before they are dropped off). Seeing as we are already on the subject of Kenworths today with Tony the T360 I thought it would be a good time to highlight this beast of a T401. We built a custom TFS12 tilt slide tray body for Shaun and his T401 late last year. Shaun was kind enough to send through some pictures of it out on the job. Enjoy !
