25.01.2022 We have a new Facebook page! Jump over to https://m.facebook.com/Ekidna-Dee-Why-School-of-Early-Learning-100810058786354/ and like it now to keep updated with all of our early learning adventures!

23.01.2022 When a creative plan comes to life! This creation was made by one of the children using their imagination and knowledge during non-structured play. The blocks were grouped together by colour then animals were added, each set of coloured blocks represents the land and it’s animal: He explained Blue - the ice and the penguins on the ice (but the ice is melting) Green - the forest with a bear and a tractor because the trees are being cut down Orange red and yellow - the deser...t with a tiger because they live where it’s hot Brown - Australia with a dinosaur, there aren’t any trees or anything because the dinosaurs are extinct. How amazing is this!!!

20.01.2022 The Ella’s and Benji’s created poppies for Remembrance Day today. The poppy is a symbol of remembrance and hope, including hope for a positive future and peaceful world. || Lest we forget ||

19.01.2022 Big shout out to our dear friend for joining in the movement ‘Take 3 For The Sea’ The children across Ekidna Dee Why have been invested in their learning about the care we need to take for our environment, we are so lucky to have a great Sustainability Officer on our team to guide us along the way! What is the goal? Make plastic pollution a thing of the past What can we do? Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere and you have made a difference #take3forthesea

10.01.2022 It was a brushing and flossing teeth kind of day for the Wombats in the Abby Room during their week of heathy hygiene habits

09.01.2022 There were big smiles covered in babyccino’s after a special visit from the infamous ‘Coffee Man.’ The Kookaburras in the Abby Room we’re thrilled to hear Roaming Cafe’s horn today as Adrian pulled up at Ekidna and exclaimed as they usually do COFFEE MAN! The children had such a great time exploring the ins and outs of the van and watching Adrian hard at work, some even shared that they wish to be a barista just like Adrian when they grow up!
