22.01.2022 Further to our Facebook update yesterday in relation to the Federal Government $17.6 billion economic plan, today we take a look at the household stimulus payments: Social security, veteran and other income support recipients and eligible concession cardholders, including those on Newstart, Commonwealth seniors health card holders and families receiving family tax benefits will receive a one-off $750 payment. If you currently receive more than one social security paymen...t, you will still only receive the one-off payment, it is per eligible recipient. The payment will be tax-free and will not count as income for social security, farm household allowance and veteran payments. Payments will commence being made from 31st March this year. If you are currently employed but also receive social security benefits you will not be eligible for the one-off payment. Media Release: https://www.pm.gov.au/media/economic-stimulus-package

02.01.2022 This year we said farewell to one our veteran team members, Steve Critchley. After 10 fantastic years, Steve, has cashed in his golden ticket to take up a new role as a retiree. Elaine had this to say about her time working alongside Steve:... "Over the years Steve has been my sounding board, always bouncing ideas and points of law off each other. His warped sense of humour and daily input will be greatly missed." We hope you will join us in wishing Steve all the best!
