24.01.2022 FAKING IT! We all do it.. We sometimes hide behind I am good words or we smile even when we cry on the inside or we act strong when we feel weak or tired. Why?... Because we put pressure on ourselves by giving in to our perception of what we BELIEVE others want to see of us. Because we master skills of hiding our FEARS and INSECURITIES. Because we believe that SUCCESS, STATUS and LEADERSHIP don’t allow for vulnerability.. They key to achieving success, however you define it, is SELF-AWARENESS. When I understood THIS, my whole existence bounced upwards to the NEXT LEVEL.. When I understood that sharing my experiences of adversity and the LESSONS which came with it, is admired and valued by others, I no longer was trapped by my own shame or ambarassement. I was empowered by PURPOSE and VISION. There is an incredible sense of certainty, alignment, serenity and strength present when you tap into your courage to show your real YOU. Children express what they feel so easily It’s childish not to.. Don’t fake it until you make it. 21.01.2022 Did you know.. You can often take charge of how your brain works? One of the greatest skills in life I believe is an ability to coexist with discomfort in a healthy manner.... From neuroscientific point of view, discomfort increases sense of uncertainty, which increases fluidity of the brain. Brain is then searching for new set of rules to learn, adapt and understand. This moment in between uncertainty and certainty makes us feel a little (or a lot) on edge. Asking yourself POWERFUL QUESTIONS and creating a PLAN of action does the following: Helps the brain to follow new structure which reduces stress response Quietens down the Inner Critic - the voice which whispers disempowering thoughts Creates a behavioural habit of overcoming challenges - RESILIENCE - makes you feel in CHARGE Creates choices - it’s the sense of feeling choice-less which often creates DISEMPOWERMENT. 09.01.2022 ....’ ... Before I became a mom I found it quite easy to be focused and in the zone especially being in coaching space for over a decade I thought I mastered a skill of FOCUSING ON A TASK. I’ll be completely honest, since becoming a mom my attention span shortened ... When I am running my business I find my mind naturally wondering away for a moment on doing ‘mommy’s things’ ..and sometimes when I am with Jordan my mind wonders away onto ‘business things’ I know many of us deal with Parent’s Guilt so I would love to share with you some of my tips to overcome it so you can FEEL EMPOWERED AS A PARENT IN BUSINESS. 1Remind yourself I always do my very best in every moment 2Take a breath and indulge yourself in a moment knowing that this moment is happening for you 3 Count your blessings and realise that parenting and business are all OPPORTUNITIES, never limitations. 4 When things get challenging remember HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME - perception is power 5Remember that everything you do is out of LOVE & PASSION and that’s all it matters.
