16.01.2022 Cameron Green‘s prodigious young talent has been recognised with selection in Australia’s 18-man white ball squad for ODIs and T20Is against India, while the seasoned New South Wales allrounder Moises Henriques has also been included as Mitchell Marsh continues his recovery from an ankle injury. In a week when the former selector Greg Chappell implored the current panel to choose Green after he maintained a seriously impressive streak of run-making in the early rounds of the Sheffield Shield though he has yet to return to bowling after a string of back problems the 21-year-old was handed his first opportunity to mix with the nation’s best players.
16.01.2022 All Blacks number eight Ardie Savea and prop Nepo Laulala are on paternity leave and will miss the Rugby Championship opener against Australia next weekend, coach Ian Foster said on Sunday. Both players were absent when the New Zealand squad boarded their flight across the Tasman Sea on Sunday, but Joe Moody was in the party and Foster was upbeat about the experienced prop being fit to play at ANZ Stadium in Sydney next Sunday.

14.01.2022 On International Day of Peace today, we celebrate the life of RZIM Asia-Pacific Regional Director Max Jeganathan. Max was once a refugee he became a lawyer and served in the Australian government before taking on the role of an evangelist with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. In this short film, we follow him back to Sri Lanka, where Max reflects on the racial riots and the experience of fleeing the place he once called home and seeking refugee status in Australia. ...The miraculous hand and provision of God shines through this narrative, as we see the fingerprints of God imprinted throughout this powerful redemptive narrative. Max remarks, I used to think that it was about good fighting evil out there but what the Lord showed me as I went through this journey is that that fight between good and evil is real but it is inside every human heart; it is not an us versus them thing. We are all just people who are broken and who need the saving and transforming love of Jesus Christ that can only be delivered through His cross and through His forgiveness. See more

02.01.2022 The cricketing world is in shock and as a friend l am too. Certainly one of the best modern day players l have seen; Dean Jones, Allan Border, the Waugh twins,S...hane Warne & Taylor, helped change our game to what it is now. Possibly, the best runner between wickets l have seen with a confidence in his ability like no other. Possibly also responsible for the best ever six l have seen hit in test cricket when in the WI he whipped the great Malcolm Marshall off his toes to the leg side stand roof with such speed that it broke two or three tiles on landing.Deano had a great love and knowledge of Sub-Continent cricket.Only 59 years old...how sad! Rest in Peace Dean Jones. See more
