25.01.2022 We have the first report of Fall Army worm in chickpeas aren’t we lucky!? Grateful to have Bill Gordon (DPI), Phil Cranney (LLS) along with @bromeo82 from @summit_ag_consulting on farm today to discuss control options.

24.01.2022 The best part of being in small community is the ability to support local organisations that have touched you or others close to you personally. We’re organising a bulk order of these great little cookie packs which will raise money for two such worthy organisations in Orange. We’ll take care of ordering, collection and delivery. PM us to order and organise payment :)

22.01.2022 Today we got treated to awesome views and pats with gentle cows

21.01.2022 We haven’t taken the header out of the area for years but contacts in Dubbo have called for assistance so we are head-ing that way soon. Afternoon spent prepping the machine.

21.01.2022 It’s so important to support local business and it’s so empowering to see local businesses support each other!Check out this great new venture from the team at Panorama Business & Financial. If you think you fit this description or know of someone that does get in touch, you never know what could happen by just putting your name out there. Great work PB&F!

21.01.2022 This storm came through at 10:45am yesterday. Although the hail was only pea to marble size it has caused some damage through the crops. The extent of stem bruising will become apparent in the next week or so. In the meantime the insurer will be contacted and we will see how we go. Unfortunately even a few bee swarms on the property did not escape unscathed.

20.01.2022 Happy National Ag Day!!! #agdayau #carruthersmachinerycowra #agday #adammarshallmp #nswdpi #youngfarmerbusinessprogram #farmlife #thankafarmerforyournextmeal

13.01.2022 Murphy’s Law... the paddock not insured receives the hail storm. Hoping the day of storms predicted eventuates to nothing.

10.01.2022 We watch the storms roll in with conflict. We still have a couple hundred acres left to harvest yet the rain is good for our moisture profile to start the process again.

07.01.2022 Just shy of 16years of age we helped our beloved friend, protecter, shadow and work dog across rainbow bridge two weeks ago. Zeek has been with us the entirety of our relationship and has welcomed weddings, kids, farms and friends into his circle. It’s pretty lonely here without him and we still look for him when we come down the drive.

07.01.2022 Had the privilege of having a tour of @cookabarra_restaurant through work earlier this week. So interesting to view the aquaculture side of primary production and to hear the technical aspects that can be transferred to land based production.

06.01.2022 A huge thanks to Jennie and Chris from Roogulli Farm for providing us with three more ewes for our babydoll stud and chatting us through some technical aspects. Welcome to Skipper, Peppa and Sallee! #roogullifarm #babydollsheep #australiansheep

05.01.2022 It’s a never ending battle getting the crops to harvest stage. Today it was spraying the crops for heliothis. #graingrowersaustralia #fredfaheyaerialservices

04.01.2022 Off to Condo she goes while the 2166 left for Dubbo yesterday. Let’s help these farmers get their crops safely stowed away.

03.01.2022 Incoming! The storms are wreaking havoc with fellow grain growers and hay makers across NSW this past week. The forecast is not looking any better either. Our thoughts go out to our industry members who have had their crops damaged by rain and hail and who are still desperately trying to harvest. Meanwhile we also sit anxiously as each rumble of thunder and storm cell roll by.

01.01.2022 Mr Ram says Hey!!! This is our foundation ram for our Babydoll stud that we are slowly building purchased from @tanjarsouthdowns.
