14.01.2022 Dental Emergencies ONLY can be seen at this time. We have been advised by the Australian Dental Association and AHPPC that Level 3 for dental clinics are now in effect. We are very limited in treatment we can provide. Emergency consultations, xrays, appropriate prescriptions, temporary fillings, smoothing sharp edges, and some extractions may be permitted. We must absolutely minimise high speed dental drills or any equipment that generates aerosols.... At this time, we can only provide EMERGENCY dental care for patients who have ZERO signs of illness/respiratory issues and have not been overseas in the last 2 weeks, OR had close contact with anyone else with illness or travel history. If you attend our clinic with any signs of cough or respiratory symptoms, we must decline treatment. If you attend our clinic, and are later found to have falsified any statement regarding your travel history, illness or contact with someone with a travel history or illness, we reserve the right to charge for decontamination of the surgery, and any and all costs to an unlimited amount in relation to clinic closure, staff treatment, commercial rent, and any further associated losses. Our open hours and days will be reduced. 11.01.2022 From Monday 27th April, there will be a slight easing on restrictions for dental treatment. As always, we maintain excellent stands of infection control with constant environmental cleaning, disinfection and sanitisation, barriers and wraps, tracked autoclaving and sterilisation of instruments to protect you, our staff and the community.

10.01.2022 Thank you everyone for tolerating #lockdown - the end is in sight! We've been given updated information about easing of dental operating restrictions. From next Monday 28th September, we'll be at Level 2 restrictions, which means we can do Regular checkups and consultations (but not cleaning - read below for more details!) Routine Fillings (majority requiring rubber dam, depending on what tools are needed)... This is in addition to the emergency and urgent work we have always been doing during lockdown to treat toothaches, pains and infections. Elation Dental are also supporting international charities by donating dental equipment to students who are going to the Philippines - here we are handing over some specialised surgical equipment to be used in countries less fortunate than ours.
