20.01.2022 So far the ATO are doing a reasonable job by our measure, but take advice if you are affected below.....

16.01.2022 It’s so sad that I need to share this. If the changes made by the government have severely impacted your income earning capacity, please register here:

14.01.2022 Hi all - we’re aware that Xero is currently experiencing an issue. We're sorry about this our teams are investigating as a top priority & we'll keep you updated via the status page: https://bddy.me/2SoHUH3

12.01.2022 Get on the Xero train people ! You won’t regret it.

10.01.2022 I have received questions whether your BAS is due today (28/2/20) or May ? A reminder to all the business affected by the recent natural disasters that your BAS is not due tomorrow. The ATO has granted businesses an automatic extension on lodgment and payment of your BAS until May. Check the ATO website for the postcodes to ensure your eligibility for this extension or contact your tax agent. Personally, I would try and stay in the regular cycle if possible.

04.01.2022 Business Clients - check your emails in regards to Jobkeeper and action if it applies to you. I am available after hours to take any questions. Rod

03.01.2022 The deadline is looming.....

02.01.2022 Fully Xero Certified for another Year !!!

02.01.2022 To my business clients who received an email from me over the weekend with a breakdown of the stimulus package, please be advised that the PAYG rebates have been moved from 50% to 100%, to a max of $50K before June 2020 and a further up to $50K after.

01.01.2022 Jobkeeper Update....... In order to continue to be eligible for JobKeeper from October to December you will need to re-pass the decline in turnover test. You will need to show your income for July to September is down 30% compared to your July to September BAS last year. Same applies for the quarter after that. The rate will reduce to $1,200 per fortnight for those employees who worked more than 20 hours per week on average and $750 per fortnight for those who worked less. Fr...om January 2021 they reduce to $1,000 and $650 respectively. Keep safe, Rod

01.01.2022 Finally, some relief for sole traders, partnerships and businesses trying to keep staff employed through this crisis. Give me a call after hours to have a chat about this amongst other changes happening almost daily.
