07.01.2022 It was 1987 and us riders had worked an extremely hard day with very successful shows. Emmanuel was over the moon, so happy,so elated that he promised us all a pay rise of 20 bucks.He invited us over to his pool where most swam in underwear, offered enormous amounts of alcohol which some of us hid in different areas for the next day.I put mine in my long boots.. (cause somehow you knew an ab fab day would be followed with.. what a useless bunch the next day) & relax while Paul would play his guitar for hours while we ate leftovers from the canteen..We usually all crashed together somewhere safe, in our same clothes ready to go at 6.30 the next morning..
