22.01.2022 Dear ELC Community, I have asked permission from Jeannine and Peter Otto to post this very sad news. Yesterday our very loved Year 10 student Hugo Otto passed away from a very sudden onset of Acute Leukemia. As a community we are devastated and we feel so much for his family, Jeannine, Peter and Elina. This afternoon we are having a short assembly so students can share some memories of Hugo and have some 'closure' before the student break. A letter also went home yesterday ...for all families. Hugo's family will be having a private funeral for Hugo and a memorial that celebrates Hugo's life will be held at the College after the student break. Jeannine has asked that any donations made in memory of Hugo are to be made to the cancer council. Please keep Jeannine, Peter and Elina as well as those many students and teachers whose life Hugo has touched, in your prayers. See more

20.01.2022 Many opportunities for senior students during the Christmas break and for adults looking for seasonal work.

09.01.2022 ‘To the Point’ broadcast tomorrow (Thursday) night (in place of advertised Bible study). Dear members and friends of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Hobart. We have a treat for you to watch from tomorrow night. We will put the Bible Study on hold for a fortnight and invite you all to tune in for a special interview by Pastor Mike with recovering alcoholic, LCA Pastor Rev Dr Don Wicklman, who has been sober for many years now. Pastor Don has, in addition to personal life experien...ce, at least five degrees, including ones in addiction studies, psychology, family studies and theology. The broadcast can be watched though clicking the ‘To the Point’ button on the St Peter's website from 7.30pm tomorrow night, Thursday 1st of October. This is for those struggling with addictions of any kind, alcoholics, family members, loved ones, friends and others who are close to addicts, and for the education of us all as substance abuse and addictions of all kinds are rife today. We look forward to you joining us for this very interesting and informative conversation. Worship again as usual this Sunday at 10.00am. Great to see more faces re-joining us. Please let me know if home communions or Pastoral care is required. Warmest regards and blessings, Pastor Mike. Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, Hobart.

08.01.2022 Hi Everyone I hope you are enjoying some time with your children over the break. I have had a parent contact me, concerned that her child has received some prank phone calls and messages. I have not had any similar concerns raised by other parents. It may not have anything to do with the College but to be on the safe side, please keep an eye on your child's phone and device use and explain that prank phone calls are not ok.

06.01.2022 Prayers Please keep the Marino family, Blake, Ella, Briana and Adele in your prayers after the unexpected passing away of their father, Mark. May God's love comfort them in this difficult time.

06.01.2022 It’s Liptember! To raise awareness of women’s mental health, our staff have been wearing coloured lippy all month. On Friday students are welcome to wear a lipstick to school to show support of this worthy cause. There is no extra donation required if students are taking part in the Crazy Hair Day for Hugo. If students are not doing crazy hair but wish to wear lipstick/gloss then a gold coin donation is required. Please consider supporting these two causes!
