15.01.2022 Meet Tony Tony has been with Elders as the Senior Agro since October 2019. His role sees him servicing clients with their agronomy requirements as well as mentoring younger staff and Agro’s coming up through Elders. Before starting with Elders Tony was the Heritage seeds (Barenbrug) technical agronomist for Northern Australia, where he serviced Northern NSW. ... Tony was also involved with the research and breeding of different varieties of pastures and crops. Tony’s area experience expands from the Western Plains, through to the tablelands across to the coast and up to the North. Whilst he has a strong background in pastures and cropping what sets him apart is his expertise in the pasture and forage systems. In Tony’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Lisa and their 3 boys on their property where he dabbles in small scale cropping and trade steers. In the past Tony enjoyed playing Rugby for the Coonabarabran Kookaburras and Coolah Roo’s as well as enjoyed a few years playing polocrosse, now he prefers to enjoy both sports as a spectator. Tony loves the idea of fishing however never seems to wet a line. If you need any agronomy advice don’t hesitate to get in contact with Tony.

14.01.2022 Hasta La Vista Luke, you will be missed. After 3 & years with Elders Gunnedah, Luke is making the leap into the next stage of his career. Whilst he is saying goodbye to Elders, Luke will continue to be a friendly face and wealth of information in the Ag industry.... This new endeavour will see Luke continue to develop and focus on his passion in animal health and nutrition. Luke has been a vital part of the Elders team over the past 3 & years with both staff and clients turning to him for animal health advice and expertise. His friendly face and dad like sense of humour will be greatly missed around the office. He is leaving some very big shoes to fill. Luke we wish you the very best for the future, and look forward to catching up for a drink to hear all about your new adventures.

11.01.2022 Meet Derek Derek is a One of a Kind in the Agricultural Industry, having spent most of his life in the business there isn’t much Derek can’t help you with. Derek started with Elders back in 1998 as the Merchandise Manager where he spent 4 years in this role before, he took 14 years off to pursue other ventures then returned in 2016 as the Merchandise Branch Manager for both Tamworth and Gunnedah. Derek’s focus is for his Elders team to provide their clients with the best... customer service possible and ensure all their farming requirements are being meet. In Derek’s down time he is a devoted family man, both him and his lovely wife usually venture away on weekends to visit and support their children. He is a mad Parramatta supporter and believes that the best invention of this decade is the wireless earphones. If you see Derek around stop and have a yarn.
