05.01.2022 "...aromas of violets, blueberries, black cherries and dark berry pastry with attractive, cedar and fresh-tobacco notes. The palate offers very attractive chocolate, plum paste and licorice. Smoothly layered tannins with blueberry flavor and a little oak spice to close. Great concentration." Our 2018 Barossa Cabernet recently reviewed by Nick Stock for JamesSuckling.com - received a great 93 points Allister has great concentration too

03.01.2022 We havent had a vineyard photo for a while, and its this special time of year, so heres budburst in the 1954 Shiraz block next to the winery. This fruit goes into the Neil Ashmead Grand Tourer Shiraz

03.01.2022 Weve just released some pretty special bottles - 6L and magnums of our Elderton Fifteen Shiraz, from a block of vines at our Greenock vineyard that were planted in 1915. 97 points, Parkers Wine Advocate 2019 The top Shiraz in the lineup is the 2016 Fifteen Shiraz, a hefty mouthful of licorice and mint-scented Shiraz. From vines planted in 1915, its full-bodied, intensely structured and almost painful in intensity, yet the tannins are ripe, the alcohol levels are not out of... hand (15%) and the oak has blended into the fabric of the fruit. With hints of grilled meat, dark fruit and mocha notes on the long finish, this wine should age effortlessly for up to two decades. Call Cellar Door for more information - 08 8568 7878.
