23.01.2022 Times are certainly a changing and there is plenty of change happening at The Plough! New beer system is in, delivering our beer colder than ever before along w...ith a few additional lines. Works on refurbishing the outside of the building have commenced and The Plough is already starting to look like its back in its prime! Numbers have increased both inside and outside so there is plenty of room to catch up with friends or family in either our beautiful beer garden or fantastic Bistro room. Live music as always, with this weekend featuring our favourite boys Monkey & The Sloth 4pm to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday 3pm to 5pm local singer songwriter Chloe Jade Getting busier has meant a few tweaks along the way, sadly we have had to drop our takeaway pizza menu as our oven capacity wasn't keeping up. Morning changes are coming too, toasties are going, with some cakes and sweets coming in, except for Sunday's! 01.01.2022 Off-Grid Living Festival positions available: PROGRAM LEADER FOR SUSTAINABLE ENERGY AREA We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about off-grid techn...ology and renewable energies to manage the ‘Sustainable Energy’ area of the Off-Grid Living Festival. The role will include: Liaising with all exhibitors in the lead-up to the festival, via phone and email. Recording all exhibitor bookings, info and data. Planning and co-ordinating the ‘Off-Grid Gurus’ talk tent. Hosting or organising someone to host the talks tent. Onsite co-ordination and planning for the whole Sustainable Living Area in the week leading up to the festival. Assist with general site set-up and pack down operations. If you enjoy the role it will grow each year and we’re hoping to find someone who would like to become an integral part of the festival team and introduce new and exciting exhibitors, speakers and workshop host to the festival each year. Must be available for a few hours work each week between now and April. And then available to come stay in Eldorado one week before and 4 days after the festival. We’d like to make the best use of our Facebook and Instagram, run effective ads and start a really well-run online newsletter community.
