25.01.2022 Annette Scarfe MW emailed me 2 weeks ago to say she opened & enjoyed my 2000 Pinot Noir so I shared this with friends last night and we all loved it. Very satisfying thing to do. It was sealed under natural cork so I was worried but my patience was rewarded.

14.01.2022 The lavender is very aromatic today. The wines are gorgeous too. Book a tasting at the Eldridge website and see for yourself. We have no food but remember that those with food are operating at 1/3 capacity under covid safe regulation.

13.01.2022 Some Chardonnays from earlier in the week. The 2 PYCM providing huge contrast. Nobody liked the Baudines, or indeed wanted more than a few sips. It seemed to have greeness or stalky flavours. The other 3 we’re outstanding. Tonight we look at 5 Pinots from 2020 by same maker but different vineyards. Assuming we survive our last day of harvest.

07.01.2022 One problem with being on a main Road is the rubbish people throw from their car. Found an empty beer can and two cloth face masks this morning.
