09.01.2022 Today is Early Childhood Educators’ Day! It’s a special day for us as we recognise and thank all of our wonderful educators at each of Ngala’s Early Leaning and Development Service centres, who with your support, help your children to learn, grow and thrive. Early Childhood Educators’ Day recognises and celebrates the work of Australia’s educators in early learning services for their wonderful contribution to the wellbeing and healthy development of the young children in their care. 04.01.2022 Hello everyone we would like to share a very important message of support for our Early Learning Centres. Our three Ngala Early Learning Centres nurtures and educates 460 children. We have 57 educators. Due to the current COVID-19 situation our centres have had to face challenges and uncertainty. We need the Government’s support now to enact its emergency powers to pay the Child Care subsidy than have parents pull their children put, one by one and cancel their place altogeth...er. If this happens, we won’t be able to pay our wonderful educators. It’s a disaster, we may not be able to recover. In turn this would be a disaster for our families, our community and our local economy. We look to you for support. This is what YOU can do to help right now: 1. Contact your local radio station and ask to be put on talkback. This way, we can blast the airwaves with this urgent issue and make it impossible for the Government to ignore. 04.01.2022 Our CEO Fiona Beermier sat down with Briana our Ngala Educator and Emily and Morgan to create some gorgeous home made ANZAC poppy wreaths. This is a perfect activity to encourage coming together as a family to talk about and honour our ANZAC heroes. We hope you get as much out of it as we did.
