04.01.2022 The shipping documents arrived late and that meant the truck booking was delayed. After 3 days on the wharf, storage must be paid starting at $300 for the first day! With the weekend in the way it looked like being 3 days of storage fees. But lady luck intervened and there was a cancellation of a truck booking and we grabbed it so they got off the wharf on Friday afternoon and will be going into the Rocklea warehouse on Monday most likely. Whew! Yesterday a guy who has lost his licence for six months bought a really sleek black mountain bike with a 16 amp hour battery. That will take him about 70 km on a charge and give him lots of opportunity for exercise and fresh air too.

01.01.2022 40 new electric bicycles are passing through customs at Port of Brisbane today and hopefully by Friday they will be in the Rocklea Warehouse. I will be going up there to pick up all the spare parts boxes and I will also be able to bring down a bike or two to Byron Shire if anybody wants one. I already have one Byron person who is interested in getting one. The most satisfying aspect of this business is that my customers really and truly love their bikes. These bikes change peoples lives for the better. My website chucked a wobbly yesterday showing US dollar prices and not converting them properly into Australian dollars. I don't know if this has been fixed yet but if anybody thinks the prices are ridiculously low they are because they haven't been converted to Australian dollars properly.
