23.01.2022 Oh! what a night of rock we all had last night in the Electric Garden @ McGuire's Hotel in Mackay, Thanks to the excellent band RAZOR & special guest BRUNO for such an excellent & very entertaining night. Tonight we do it all again with Tuckshop DJ WINKZ. with MONDY KILLZ, bringing fresh House, Hip Hop and Dubstep flavours, alongside locals Big Willy, Scuba and Synoptic.

17.01.2022 Annastacia Palaszczuk (PM) has announced that restrictions will be easing from 4PM Tuesday 17th November. This will mean that dancing will be allowed from Tuesday NEXT WEEK, in the Electric Garden! - Yes, FROM NEXT WEEK. No, not from this weekend sorry, from next week. The vast majority of our customers have followed the legislation and rules put in place by QLD Health, and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. HOWEVER This does not mean you can dance this we...ekend, and we still need to follow the rules. We don't make the rules, we follow them so the venue can continue to operate and trade. 10.01.2022 From tomorrow @ McGuire's Hotel in Mackay the outdoor & beer garden restrictions will be reduced from the 4 square meters per person ruling to 2 square meters, this does not mean we can double our capacity of patrons, unfortunately you still have to be seated and no dancing is allowed, due to this we have re arranged the Electric Garden to be able to comfortably seat 200 patrons , plus we have the Pool Hall, Karaoke room, pokie room + 2 x bar areas inside the Hotel, where we can comfortable seat another 70 patrons!

10.01.2022 Thanks to all McGuire's management & staff, Clinton, Sam and their crew for displaying brilliant light & stage production + excellent two nights of entertainment, security for keeping the patrons in line, it was an excellent Friday & Saturday night, just a couple of photos from last night, I also want to thank all patrons for showing up in numbers + helping us keep the Queensland Health rules and regulation on social distancing and dancing above board & in line, we do apologize for the hundreds who could not make it into the venue, this was due to us having to cap the numbers entering well under our legal venue capacity, we want to keep this venue safe & as comfortable as we can under the Covid - 19 restrictions.

Very strict Queensland Health & Government Covid-19 rules & conditions do apply! - No current ID No entry, you must be signed into a register, 1.5 meter social distance rule apples whilst cuing up out the front plus inside, no standing unless going to the bar or toilets, no dancing, plus you must stay behind the 1.5 meter line whilst waiting for your drinks, no standing at the bar to drink! come early to avoid waiting in long cues! anyone caught trying to gain illegal entry into the Electric Garden will cop a 12 months automatic banning.
