05.01.2022 Removing the Default Paragraph tag when you press Enter in your WordPress Page or Post By default, when you press Enter in a WordPress blog, it wraps the preceding text in a paragraph tag and forces a double line break. You can get around it, but doing something like pressing Shift + Enter to force a line break (instead of a paragraph) is something that can easily be forgotten. Here is a way of changing that default behaviour, so that Enter instead means line break. ... But what if you want a paragraph? Well, just hit Enter twice.
