25.01.2022 A repair we did on a Sherco which had melted a hole out the top of the cylinder. We removed the original coating, filled with weld, bored the cylinder true, fly cut the head surface, milled the o-ring land then applied our Nikasil coating.

24.01.2022 q: Can you fix one hole in a block a: Yes, however the block must be submerged through acids to clean, strip and pre-treat the metal. Therefor we can do an end hole, however to do a middle hole wed have to do an end hole also. This is also providing there is adequate spacing between cylinders that we can submerge one hole without it lapping into the next hole.

24.01.2022 Basic weld and recondition on a KTM250SX. There's not too much we can't fix, so send us a message for a quote today!

22.01.2022 Heres a cast iron to Nikasil bore conversion on a 125cc go kart engine worn past its last oversize. To make this possible, the liner must be removed from the aluminium housing.

17.01.2022 This is coating failure on a genuine 2019 KTM SX125 cylinder...we offer a 12 month warranty on coating failure like this (inc piston), combined with a 2 day turnaround makes our service hard to beat!

12.01.2022 We are proud to announce the arrival of our new hydroblaster! All cylinders will now be hydroblasted, and if you'd like your head done as well to match just send it down :) We will also be hydroblasting other engine parts (ie cases) at competitive rates

11.01.2022 Nikasil conversion on a Yamaha DiASil R3 engine. These DiASil engines have a relatively low concentration of silicon carbide, which means we can coat directly onto the substrate without adhesion issues. This conversion will greatly increase the durability of the engine, and slightly increase engine output through the entire rev range with a lower ring drag coefficient.

05.01.2022 Vertical scorch marks (pictured left) are caused by combustion gases bypassing the piston rings (known as blow-by) resulting in loss of compression and performance. This can often be rectified by honing the cylinder (pictured right) and fitting new piston rings, or a larger piston depending on cylinder wear. Contact us today for a obligation free quote!
