23.01.2022 Thanks again everyone for your hard efforts this semester Fortunately to those who managed themselves and studied harder than before, you have been successful - so well done Now your results will be coming out shortly... You should receive 2 results for the unit you studied, one is for the theory and one is for work experience (portfolio) The work experience (workplace evidence) for each unit will be assessed at the completion of the course in 4th year prior capstone - so hopefully you can explain this to your employer if an unsatisfactory result appears on your transcript for portfolio - and/or maybe you understand it better now Portfolio result or similar will mention Unsatisfactory - doesn't mean you failed the unit (unless you receive 2 unsatisfactory results) Watch out for Facebook posts regarding next year's enrolments, it will be around early January and your classes will be found on the Moodle Any concerns always forward an email to the section or call the office We will be finishing up this week Thanks again for studying with us this year and we look forward to assisting you again next year Take care regards Paul Frew for the Electrical Trades Section

21.01.2022 Ok, my body has forgotten what it's like working under a damp house working on a submain, in awkward cramped positions Not my favourite place to work in However, I am extremely grateful for completing my apprenticeship and gaining an electrical licence and the opportunities it has provided me throughout my career and personal life... I'm hoping you find the same, there are lots of opportunities out there in our trade Anyway, this week online will be AC revision (Tuesday 7:00pm) and Planning (Thursday 7:00pm), watch out for events All welcome Only 6 weeks to go for most of you Use the time wisely And we are here to assist you and just remember you have access to free online tutorial, use it if you need it Take care Re Paul Frew

It will be found on the Moodle for AC circuits under Practical videos Your teacher Anthony has done another great job in instructing you how to set up the CRO and test the CRO leads and CRO shunt resistor...
