19.01.2022 When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we would never have guessed that just a couple of years later a global pandemic would be preventing couples just like us - in love and excited to officially become one - from planning or having the day of their dreams. Yes, many people are facing all sorts of indescribable challenges and sadness right now. And yes, to some, a postponed or delayed wedding might just seem like a devastating inconvenience. But looking back and th...inking about being in the position that brides and grooms-to-be are in right now...I would have been absolutely gutted to have something I’ve looked forward to my entire life taken away, if only temporarily, not by choice. To be a bride-to-be right now would be a conflicting concoction of emotion. To be a bride-to-be, or anyone for that matter, working in essential services...on the front line right now...would be one almighty challenge. There is a chance for one bride-to-be, an essential service worker, to have a special treat that will make their wedding planning feel less like a challenge and more like a dream. It’s an incredible package from a collection of Brisbane-based wedding vendors that I am privileged to be working with - a collection of small businesses who want to use their specialty and industry to give back to those who are working tirelessly to keep us safe.
