25.01.2022 5.5 weeks old. Busy and sleepy little things.

25.01.2022 Little piggie having his late night feed

24.01.2022 We have daylight! Eyes have starting to open today, some fully, some partially and some still closed (11-12 days old). It has made for some interesting observations in terms of how the pups suddenly find a lot more stability on their feet. Sight takes a while to develop, but their interaction with their surroundings are very different today compared to yesterday.

24.01.2022 Madam (Ch Eleganser Aurora Australis) won Opposite Best State Bred, beaten by her stunning son Spruce. Were not mad about it! Madam is my first home-bred girl and is the foundation of everything Eleganser. She is the sweetest girl there ever was, but prefers to be relaxing on the couch. Much like myself, really. 23.01.2022 Dilly, Madam and I also tried out the Brace class, and won mainly due to lack of competition. Its always fun despite being very uncoordinated! Photos taken by Sophia R Photography at this weekends Great Dane breed specialty open show.

23.01.2022 Dilly (Ch Eleganser Dilly Dally) won Reserve Best Bitch and Best Bred by Exhibitor in Show. Shes such a happy camper and overall gorgeous girl, maturing beautifully, much like her brother Spruce. Photos taken by Sophia R Photography at this weekends Great Dane breed specialty open show.

22.01.2022 Today we trimmed 306 nails - no easy feet We also washed 15 sticky puppies, washed ever so many blankets (constant feed), and of course attempted the ongoing battle of presenting mum Dilly with the best of pickings, only for her to reject most things. Unless presented by hand...sometimes The pups are doing great though. As is mum. This is a snippet from last night when everyone woke up hangry all at once, and Dilly really wasnt feeling it I really wasnt feeling it e...ither. The whole thing is a bit taxing and overwhelming for everyone. PS: You might ask why the puppies are in trunks. It is because there are 15 of them... If you have been fed and cleaned, and you are asleep, you get transferred into a trunk to sleep it off. We do a midnight feed (supplementary hand feed, again at 7am, as well as once mid afternoon), and pups are with mum overnight, or rather, are transferred to her during the night as they wake up.

22.01.2022 13 days old - starting to become vocal, telling me all about the situation clearly shed like to speak with the manager. They have now also started eliminating independently...so this is getting interesting

20.01.2022 Dora 16 weeks old - first show tomorrow

19.01.2022 Puppies are 2 weeks and 6 days. Teeth emerged today, and they also had their first taste of solids (puppy formula and mince), which went down a treat. They are getting steadier on their feet and have started interacting and playing. Super cute and super messy.

19.01.2022 Dora, Monteral Blueberry Pie (Imp. NZ), smashed her first show - so many distractions - but she took everything in her stride. And sit She took out Best Baby Puppy in Show Thank you to her breeder Chris Mucalo for this blue beauty ... 17.01.2022 When the party is over

17.01.2022 Home office bliss (also very distracting ) Cant fit much more under my desk.

16.01.2022 Babys got back Happy 9 months Dora

16.01.2022 Yup - a bit proud of this guy and his mum! So wonderful to watch Spruce starting to mature, and being so beautifully handled by Alexandra Proudfoot. You guys are just phenomenal

15.01.2022 Happy 8 weeks wee guys I love it when you are sleeping, you little poop machines

14.01.2022 Two cool chicks - thank you Victoria (OnyxDanes) for being an extra pair of hands. Dilly is watching a bird

13.01.2022 Patiently waiting for everyone to wake up, with a lone shoe for company.

11.01.2022 3.5 weeks old. Another sunny day allowing outside time. Thankfully - as some time was needed to de-poop their indoor area this morning. Pups are now mostly eating solids as mum Dilly is less and less comfortable nursing them. Understandable, they are getting big, strong and sharp. Had our first try of Prime 100 chicken roll today, to help them learn to chew (rather than inhale), and put those pearly whites to good use. Also got in some nice BARF mince to start mixing in with their kibble. Everything is going so fast! And there is so much poop

09.01.2022 Its a bit cold

08.01.2022 Its getting chilly Thank goodness we have coats from D & D Dog Coats to keep everyone snug and warm!

07.01.2022 Shrimp chilling out before his big day traveling home tomorrow.

06.01.2022 Puppies are growing well, now 4 weeks old, and are spending their days outside catching sun rays and munching on bones (which mysteriously disappear very quickly!).

05.01.2022 15 puppies are hard work. And gives mum stubble burn on her lips

05.01.2022 Happy 7 weeks birthday puppers!

04.01.2022 Dora and Atticus

04.01.2022 Puppies are 1 weeks old today. Were all hanging in there Long hours, little sleep for the adults, big growth and complex feeding schedules for the little ones. So far Dilly has been eating remarkably well. Like, not great, or as much as I would like her to, but she is eating a bit The pups are incredibly cute from afar, but are like piraas if they catch a whiff of you. This is because they are supplementary half hand raised (because there is 15 of them) as now that they are supplemented, they associate our scent and touch with mealtime. So, dont touch the puppies if they are sleeping, or lean in too far to take a picture they know youre there!

04.01.2022 Eddie making himself comfortable on a rainy night. Are you OK princess?

03.01.2022 Welcome to our F Litter Sire: BIS RUBISS Aust GrCh Taliekin The Bourne Legacy (AI) Dam: Aust Ch Eleganser Dilly Dally... We whelped our litter on Wednesday/Thursday; 10 boys (4 fawn) and 5 females (1 fawn). All puppies were of good weight and are at present doing very well, as is their mother Dilly. The breeder is already worse for wear Were not taking any further applications for this litter at the moment.

03.01.2022 They grew! Now 2 weeks and 2 days. I try to take pictures of them, and keep up, but there arent enough hours in the day. Or enough energy left in me...

02.01.2022 Napping alfresco on full bellies time to take them back inside for the evening now.

02.01.2022 Weekend landscaping, pen extensions and thinking of new and exciting things to do other than napping. There is a lot of napping.

01.01.2022 We have a black female puppy available Please email us for an Application Form [email protected] have a black female puppy available Please email us for an Application Form [email protected]

01.01.2022 First outside venture for the puppies today. Mainly because of the proximity and appropriateness to use a hose for cleaning up, but also because we had lovely sunshine. Pups are still figuring out food, and there is a bit of a cleanup process

01.01.2022 Madam seems to have occupied Doras favorite spot... Go right ahead, Dora You are lucky she is a patient lady.

01.01.2022 Three generations Eleganser From left: Alexandra Proudfoot with Spruce (RUBISS Ch Eleganser Does Dallas 2 yrs), Madam (Ch Eleganser Aurora Australia 5 years), myself, Dilly (Ch Eleganser Dilly Dally 2 years) and Mim with Gertrude (Eleganser Equine Empire 11 months) Photo taken by Sophia R Photography at this weekends Great Sane breed specialty open show.
