Did you know that traditionally the Stock was used in the hunt field as a safety measure in case of injury, the tie part could be used as a temporary bandage for a horse's leg or a sling for a rider's arm. 02.01.2022 SPPHAWA 2021 State Championships aka the excellent adventures of Harry and Harley. We ventured off to the beautiful grounds of the Meadow Polo Field. Thankyou ...as always to SPPHAWA and everyone involved in another beautifully orchestrated show. Part 1 Saturday. Village Conquerer aka Harry didn't disappoint, as always being the perfect gentleman and consummate professional. We did far more running than our old legs anticipated Our results are as follows; 1st Best Presented Senior Gelding. Reserve Best Presented Exhibit Overall. Thank you very much to Hi Shine Equine for your sponsorship prize. I have used your products in presenting my boys for a long time and I thank you for your amazing products. 1st Senior Gelding 13 years and over. Champion Gelding. This was such an honour in a large class. Biggest thanks to Dr Charlie Stewart from Equitech for the lovely plaque and to OTTWA for your generous sponsorship. It is greatly appreciated. Charlie has been my vet for a few decades lol and was by my side 2 years ago when we nearly lost Harry to the fall in the septic tank. I can't thank you enough for everything. This horse just continues to give his all, he never says no, 100% commitment and his work ethic is second to none. All credit to Kya who loves this giant douche and gives him his confidence, and the best education I could ask for. Champion Prep Dressage Test with some fantastic scores and comments. Thankyou so much once again to OTTWA for your generous sponsorship. It's very much appreciated. And that was just day 1 Day 2 saw us return with Kinda Black and Kya in the Elementary Classes. Calm and collected, so consistent all day long, great rhythm and square halts galore. Results as follows; 2nd Best Presented in a large field. 1st Senior Rider Champion Elementary Rider. 3rd Hack over 15.3 hh 1st Medium/Heavyweight Hack 1st Show Hunter. Sadly not the judges choice for Champion, but the workout was fabulous and we are very happy.
