24.01.2022 When the owner of La Fermette Marbeuf Restaurant in Paris wanted to renovate in 1978, he removed panels blocking off extra space and found part of the original 1898 restaurant untouched behind them. It was originally designed by Emile Hurte.

21.01.2022 An enfilade of rooms at Ostankino Palace in Moscow, Russia. Photography by Massimo Listri, 2015. In architecture, an enfilade is a suite of rooms formally align...ed with each other. This was a common feature in grand European architecture from the Baroque period onward, although there are earlier examples, such as the Vatican Stanze. The doors entering each room are aligned with the doors of the connecting rooms along a single axis, providing a vista through the entire suite of rooms. The enfilade may be used as a processional route and is a common arrangement in museums and art galleries, as it facilitates the movement of large numbers of people through a building. See more

14.01.2022 This is quite a lot of red but mixed with gold and white it is looking elegant. I like the chandelier and the contrast he is giving to the red decoration. It is... probably Murano Glass chandelier. Venetian glass is thought to have been made for over 1,500 years, and production has been concentrated on the Venetian island of Murano since the 13th century. See more
