15.01.2022 The Greatest of Souls live in the Flowers of the Trees. In the islands, we were taught that if someone lives in an area for a long time they become part of the ...earth there. As the days go on and on their spirit contributes to the growth of the land helping nature to manifest its pathways. Small parts of a person are thus within all things, everywhere around where they have lived. As someone ages their contribution becomes larger and more and more beautiful mirroring their wisdom. This starts with simple grasses, small flowers, then berries and root vegetables, then fruit on low trees, then fruit on high trees, eventually a persons wisdom is so beautiful it begins to contribute to the trees. The oldest, most beautiful and wisest of Souls contribute to the flowers on high trees, flowers that are so pure their blood is white. These flowers are the mark of a full life, a life of aiding others and changing the world for the better. The sun rests at their centre and even fades to purity at their edge. These flowers are the Frangipani. There is no gift greater than a circle of these flowers. At birth they signify the transference of the souls ancient wisdom. In life they represent a blessing of great love from the elders. In passing they represent the gifts that the one who leaves this world will continue to shower upon us and a mark of respect for those gifts. Offering a circle of Frangipanis to the ocean close to where an old soul has lived we allow the departing soul to wear these flowers for eternity as a mark of their efforts in this life and the part of them within these flowers can stay forever. Every time we see the beauty or smell the joy of the Frangipani we can continue to remember their Love, great deeds and smiling face. The Greatest of Souls live in the Flowers of the Trees, be still and listen within the fragrant glory of the Frangipani. -JMA

14.01.2022 The garden is a great example of the benefit that can be gained from having things in good order and set up well. We now enter an energy where a strong drive to... progress meets a strange kind of resistance - and it all could seem a little un-manageable.This could be our cue to look at how it could all be more efficient and in a more working order. Mercury is still in retrograde and generally favours reworking and tidying up loose ends but sometimes it can require a bit more of an overhaul, beyond the exisiting to really improve the potential. In short preparation can be progress and it’s a great energy to work on the new design. Sunday 21st February is a node day and the moon moves into the ascending phase of her rhythm which favours activities such as sowing seeds, taking cuttings and aerial nutrient applications. 13.01.2022 The garden can tend to have many facets producing food, decorative, sensory, quiet areas and so on. We may have an area of greater focus like the vege patch... which provides us with nourishment or floral patch to uplift our senses. Every now and then the main focus in our garden can come up for review. The point here is that we are not being asked to abandon the garden rather adjust our focus the many facets. Remember that shifting focus is a transition - we must first let go of our old one to avail the time and energy for the new one. Monday the 14th is a Node day and the moon moves into the descending phase of her rhythm. This favours activities such as composting, cultivating and enriching the soil, pruning and transplanting seedlings. 08.01.2022 Sending out the last of the mists before Christmas. Pussycat has been helping but now it's nap time for her. 05.01.2022 The sun now moves into Aries bringing with it a welcome impulse to begin again. After what may have seemed like quite a balsamic month, a little bit of drive an...d the urge to action could be a welcome change. Considering what constellates with this new surge of potential, it is important to recognise that there may be a touch of intensity in the air. As energy concentrates it can begin to feel a bit obsessive and draw us into a more magnified view. The small things can start to look bigger and our altered focus could intensify the way we direct our energy. It is important to know when something has run its course rather than expectantly holding up progress. And similarly, are we tolerating things beyond what we really should be? Sometimes the greatest form of care and concern is to simply: live and let live. See more
