Process: Natural Altitude: 1570 Harvest: Dec Feb After seeing the devastation caused by the leaf rust disease firsthand back in 2012 we love seeing the country recovering, back to stunning specialty coffees becoming the norm instead of the exception. This coffee is a beautiful example of the balance that can be achieved between sugary sweet and savoury characters that are associated with pacamara. Expert insight: The Pacarmara variety is a hybrid between Pacas and Maragogype varietals.

Part of what makes our young st blend so damn tasty is the coffee these wonderful people produce. ... Producing pro dominantly red Catuai on their 20 hectares which was passed down from Selecia’s parents. The land sits at the bottom of the granite formation seen here, which makes the use of mechanical harvesting impossible, quite unusual for Brazil.
