23.01.2022 Element Dental is delighted to introduce our new dentist Dr. Josh Nolde. Dr. Josh is exceptionally skilled and has a caring and gentle approach. He is entertaining too! Dr. Josh started his own clinic in Brazil in 2009, Sabre Dental and has recently moved to Central Coast with his wife Vivian, who is also an amazing mother of two and an Oral Surgeon. Dr. Josh has a particular interest in implants. He regularly travels to local surgeries to educate and assist with implant plac...ement and has recently had his third research paper published. In his spare time, Josh enjoys cooking for his family, surfing and playing tennis. We are confident you and your family will love him!

22.01.2022 PAPILLA PERFECTION A tragic accident resulted in the fracture of three front teeth and devitalisation of one front tooth. The best option to replace missing or unrestorable teeth is dental implants. While it is possible to place two implants and have an artificial tooth (implant bridge), we opted to place three immediate implants. This allows the absolute most natural appearance and allows each tooth to be stand alone. This treatment involved Root Canal Therapy (RCT) and cro...wn to the upper lateral, root extractions and surgically guided immediate implants, period of healing, temporisation, final screw-cement retained prosthesis (SCRP) implant crowns, and an occlusal splint. The challenge with implants is to maintain the scallop effect or papilla which are naturally present in healthy teeth and gums. The immediacy of placement, the use of a flapless technique, and the use of low profile healing abutments allowed the soft tissue profile to be beautifully maintained.
