24.01.2022 ***Why You Shouldnt go Vegan or Plant Based*** Myself along time ago wouldve answered this question like everyone else with a reason when it was really just a very lame and pathetic excuse. There is ZERO reason not to Plant Based... Today I am just going to talk on the Heath Aspect of a Plant Based diet. A Year I was aware of nutrition because I had to be to get better when I was very very Ill. It wasnt a Plant Based Diet that got me through but If I was to recommend anything to anyone I would recommend a Plant Base Diet. I was over complicating things and looking too far into things, trying to find a fault with a Plant Based Diet. The only one I could find was Sugar...Carbs. But it isnt bad for you. People Label Carbs, Fat bad for you when those two run the mothership. The only one you have left is protein which is used for tissue and tissue / muscle repair. Plant Based Diet is the number ONE way to prevent Heart Disease (THE NUMBER ONE KILLER) Being Plant Based really just takes everything back to the basics with what we eat. It isnt boring, I LOVE MY FOOD so trust me it isnt plan or boring! My Health has been better than Ever since I became Vegan/ Plant Based not just the physical but also the mental. So What are the benefits?! So why is this Better than HFLC? So why is this better than Eating Meat? Oh and If you were wanting to ask this, Ill answer it now I am not protein deficient How?! 15.01.2022 **The Science of Building Muscle for Athletes** When we make our muscles larger, we say those muscles under go hypertrophy, which means the muscle fibres that make up our muscles grow larger. Hypertrophy training of one kind or another is the foundation of just about every periodised sports training program. There are many reasons for this. First, the larger a muscle is, the greater potential it has to be stronger. The stronger a muscle is, the greater potential it has to be ...explosive. Thus, hypertrophy training, if done correctly, can make an athlete stronger and more explosive. Second, hypertrophy training has an extremely beneficial effect on ligaments and tendons, which are often our weak links during sports performance. The high volume and moderate rest associated with hypertrophy training stimulates the ligaments and tendons to adapt to training. Third, muscle mass means greater size and weight. 15.01.2022 ***6 Benefits to Training on the Beach*** 1. If youre running to drop weight then beach running is actually more effective than running on the road as energy expenditure in soft sand is considerably more than road running by as much as 50 percent! 2. The impact forces through the lower limb from foot strike on the beach, compared to the road, is way less, so theres a much lower risk of sustaining a stress fracture to your lower limbs running on the beach than there is fro...m logging similar running times on the road. 3. Due to sinking into the soft sand (which lowers the impact forces) the: Quads Hip flexors Hamstrings Calves Glutes are forced to work harder than running on the road. This general, non-specific conditioning can: (i) Have carryover benefits to athletes and sports (ii) Engages a range of different muscles, improving functional stability and overall fitness. 4. Running on soft sand (in bare feet) forces the small, intrinsic muscles of the feet that control foot mobility and strength. This is an extension of the benefits associated with barefoot running on the road. 5. Having the Ocean right at your hand. Once you have finished a killer workout you can recover in the cold water which has many benefits like: Increases Awareness Hydrates Skin Improves Immunity Improves and Relives Depression Speeds Up Muscle Recovery and Soreness Accelerates Metabolism Improves Concentration 6. Vitamin D from the sun helps with maintaining or building stronger bones, normally you will think of calcium when you hear of having strong bones but dont overlook the importance of vitamin D.
