22.01.2022 Every Monday and Tuesday I'm out with my daughter, usually bush walking or riding somewhere new, or exploring local creeks. Today I gave her a crack at using the camera to take photos of Daddy riding. She rode Shotgun with me (notice her little seat on the bike in front of mine) to some local trails, and then her Element training officially began. She is certainly the cutest Element team member (sorry Scott it was a close contest), but just look at her camera skills too!

19.01.2022 Here's a flashback to a promotional video that we began creating early in the year with Australian Trail Horse Riders Association, and finished up a little later in the year amidst the opening-up of activities after lockdown. The fun & inclusive nature of the ATHRA community was apparent right from the beginning of filming. As well as trying to capture a promotional video that looked technically pretty, we really wanted to convey the joy, growth and community spirit of the ATHRA community. We were very happy with the final outcome.

11.01.2022 Last week I worked with a group of Year 10 students on an annual Sunshine Coast Photography Camp. We spent a couple of nights playing with slow shutter photography and light painting - where you start with a pitch black scene and add light to the image using torches, glow sticks, sparklers etc. Working together, this is what they came up with using the group van and Mt Beerwah as the subject in the middle of pine forests in the Glasshouse Mountains.... A pretty cool photo to wrap up a big week of learning and travelling around the Sunny Coast.

11.01.2022 It's been a long year! You probably haven't heard much from us lately but admittedly that's because we've been too busy to share what's been happening. Let's take a look back at where this year began, starting with this video entitled 'Live your life offroad' for MTBA. Mountain Bike Australia are now part of Auscycling, for whom we have just covered the National BMX and Track championships with photography and video coverage. So the year started with bikes and ended with bikes - success!!! What's your favourite discipline?

09.01.2022 An Aussie Christmas Concert. Over the last couple of days we set up and captured an end-of-school Christmas Concert with students at St Edward's Catholic Primary School at Daisy Hill. We bumped in with 2 carloads of audio & video equipment Wednesday afternoon ready to mix and capture 16 separate audio channels and 5 camera angles containing over 200GB of footage. We also recorded some (hilarious) staff Christmas messages and a couple of fun skits with some of the Year 6 s...tudents. When all pieced together the students and parents will have a wonderfully entertaining Christmas video to enjoy and keep as memories in year to come.
