25.01.2022 Whilst the results from last weekend F16 Nationals weren't quite what the team had hoped for, we did learn a lot and have wasted no time getting back into it and tweaking the designs in the never ending battle for speed. #itsallaboutthespeed #f16catamaran #f16viper #noprizesforsecond

20.01.2022 Element Sails has spent a considerable amount of time designing and testing our full length decksweeper sail for the F16 - you could say it's consumed our last 6 months. We built and tested a couple of different designs, both of which are very quick. There's been a lot of two boat testing to get boat settings and batten combinations right. This video was taken at the SA Summer of Sail at the Adelaide Sailing Club at the start of race 7 in 15-18 knots and shows the speed of the F16 Viper with the Element Sails decksweeper and our new jib. It's a straight out drag race off the start line in a consistant breeze against an F18, a Tornado and a Nacra 5.8 and as you can see the little F16 is able to match it with the quicker boats even in the chop. Stay tuned for the next project coming out very soon. #itsallaboutthespeed

18.01.2022 Team Element F16 hit the water again today for day two of the SA Summer of Sail. Bit of wind on and big sea state should prove for some good photos to come.

18.01.2022 Element Sails lead designer explaining why we do what we do at the 1:30 mark - "it's all about the speed".

13.01.2022 Late night development #elementsails #itsallaboutthespeed #noprizesforsecond #winning

10.01.2022 Anyone looking for some sailing over the Easter break come give Lake Bonney a go, one of our home clubs and a great place to relax and enjoy some sailing (and lots of other great activities in the region)

09.01.2022 Mast bend Saturday’s. More development on the F16s. #elementsails #itsallaboutthespeed #strathalbyn #vipersailing #f16catamaran

08.01.2022 So the team are currently on their way back from competing in the Element Sails F16 National Championships held in Frankston (Melbourne). With a mixed bag of conditions 20+ knots day 1, sub 8knots day 2 and no racing day 3 they only managed to get 5 races in. Our two teams finished 3rd and 4th overall behind two very quick teams from NSW who finished equal on points, one of which was using his brand new jib we delivered to the regatta. ... Although not quite the results we were looking for overall we now know where we are at with the development of our sails, with this being our first hit out against other F16s and can keep pushing to get faster.

05.01.2022 Batten day! #elementsails #itsallaboutthespeed #rbsbattens #contendersailcloth #mosquitocatamaran #taipancatamaran

05.01.2022 TODAY WAS EPIC!!! The orange and white Viper was trucking before they stuck it in and broke the crossarm during the dismount. The other Element Viper pushed it all the way home for the win. It's not often the video does the waves justice but they were big and you get the sense of the conditions even in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnwzR6EKUZQ&t=631s

04.01.2022 Another kite, another late night. Last week we were on the water racing and testing and this week we’re back into it with another design out the door. #itsallaboutthespeed #elementsails #spinnaker #f16viper #redbullsailingteam #redbullgivesyouwings #blackkitesmatter

04.01.2022 Bit more Element action (and stuff ups) from the SA Summer of Sail F16 Deck-sweeper main in 20+ knots of wind is proving to make a huge difference to the boat, making for a much more controllable sail and therefore boat. It’s got a big from us.

02.01.2022 Taipan vs viper SA edition. Just add wind. #f16catamaran #taipancatamaran #lakebonneybarmera #elementsails

02.01.2022 SA Summer of Sail day 1. 2nd over the line in both races (wins on yardstick). Got beaten around the course by a Big T. It kept rolling us downhill, but we didn't mind, it was one of our kites.
