24.01.2022 Happy New Years guys Do you struggle to stick to your New Years resolutions?! Read below!! It is quite common that people use the beginning of every year to reflect on the past year, make decisions and set resolutions for the New Year. It is a good thing to make resolutions, but it takes a great deal of discipline and commitment to get results that would make more of a difference and be better than last year.... Why do New Years Resolutions fail you ask? Mainly, because they are only a statement, or what we wish for in the coming year. There are usually no action plans, no deadlines, no backup plans. Sometimes they are unrealistic resolutions, with no other thought or plans beside the statement. A New Year's resolution for e.g to stay in touch with old friends, start exercising, or get more sleep has no real painful consequence for not following through, at least in the short-term, unless you attach a consequence yourself. Here’s some tips that will help to keep you accountable with your goals: Find what brings you joy! The law of attraction states that by focusing on the things that bring you joy, you’ll bring more positive experiences into your lifeso give it a try! Come up with a mantra! Instead of resolving to lose weight, what you can say is, ‘I intend to practice self care daily’. Keep it positive! Every time you think negatively about someone or something, stop yourself and think of 2-3 positives from that situation. Share with a friend! Find a friend who knows and supports you and tell them about your intentionbecause while intentions may make us more responsible for our actions, we’re all bound to have slip-ups! Create quotes or a vision board! If you think you are someone who will wake up in the morning and forget about your goals, have some of them written on a sticky note in places you know you’ll see them for e.g in the toilet or even near the jug if you make a coffee in the morning! These are the little things that in time will help you a little more towards your goals! 80% of humans don’t stick to their resolutions and goals they set out to achieve, do something different this year and try these steps

10.01.2022 Did you know men are three times as likely to die by suicide than women? Regardless of who you are or what you do for a living or where you come from, it doesn’t discriminate, we all go through our own thing. Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of, but stigma and bias shame us all and that’s the problem we are having. We’re all human & most men are often too afraid to admit their difficulties! Back in the day if you were a guy, you used to have to be ...really masculine & strong & show no emotion but now expressing emotions is accepted and respected which it should have been the whole time. I still struggle with it but just remember every day everyone deals with some level of anxiety or depression; we’re all in it together!! All pain is temporary, & one of the biggest things I believe Mental bealth needs is more unashamed conversations. I speak with and deal with Mental health every single day from getting messages or calls really late at night to people contemplating suicide & I’m the one person they’ve called. I’ve sat there on the phone crying before trying to talk someone out of killing them selves. I work with 3 different Mental health organisation’s right now to try break the stigma around young men & Mental health & I believe it’s only getting worst. The world doesn’t always know what to do with people who don’t recover from Mental illness. We like stories that have a clear beginning and ending. Even if you don’t fully heal or ‘get better’, you can be loved and appreciated for exactly who you are now. And trust me, your perfect in your own way! For all you men out there, I hope you’ve read this far and will remember what I’ve just said above & know that it’s ok to not be ok and that we are all in this together. 08.01.2022 Nobody wants to tell you why discipline is so important. Discipline and who you surround yourself with are two very important things to me. Discipline is ignoring the current pleasures that surround me for the bigger rewards to come. Surrounding myself with goal driving people is a must for me as I don’t want to be around people who don’t want to better themselves. Discipline to me is sacrificing the pleasures right now that most of you all love doing, eating or having becau...se I want and can see the bigger picture! I truly hold myself accountable for every little thing I do, if I ever feel slack and don’t do what I’ve said I was going to do then I will constantly think about it 24/7. That is why my word and being honest with myself is very important as I want others around me to do the same. People only like to see what’s in front of them, not what it took for someone to get there and what they have been through. Think about this, if someone (myself) was not leading by example in all that he does, would so many people join or listen to what he has to say?
