25.01.2022 Have you heard the news? From February we say goodbye to Elvie Interiors and welcome Elevate Studio! Head over to Instagram @elevate__au for a look into our rebrand!

24.01.2022 This lockdown Im working on a whole lot of design work! Whilst things are a little different not being able to source in person, many of our suppliers are doing their best to provide us with all of the resources we need to keep creating magic! This image was sourced via @globewest and features the Paddy Occasional Chair.

24.01.2022 I saw a post yesterday that gave me the biggest belly laugh, it was along the lines of Ive been stuck at home/ in bed for so long now my grandson is about to take over a chocolate factory. Were all feeling a bit like grandpa Joe over here in VIC, but its time to remember that lifes a golden ticket baby! And with a golden ticket its a golden day! They say the most successful people dont start the day without making their beds. So, to help you live your best life, h...eres some bed styling 101. Linen - you cant go wrong with a white linen doona cover. Our go to picks are from @cultiver_goods, @bedouinsocietelinens and @bed.threads. Euros - the big pillows. Chuck them on if you dont have a bedhead, or if you want a more formal look. Feeling creative? So what weve done here and add height/ interest with one euro instead of your typical two! Were also partial to swapping the boxy euro inserts out for feather ones and using them in front of standard pillows instead of behind. Well do a reels video soon to show you how. Throw/ bedcover - our favourite thing to do at the mod section of your bed is fold a bed cover into thirds lengthways and use it instead of a throw. Two reasons- most throws are NEVER long enough for queen or king beds, and if its a chilly Melbourne night a bed cover gives you an extra layer of warmth if you open it on up! Standard pillows - face them up or lay them down flat - one set to match the doona is great and one to match the throw/ bedcover. Bingo. Scatter cushions - easiest configuration is two identical feather insert cushions with a big of a pattern up front in the centre of the pillows behind. Fail safe sophistication every time. But if playing it safe isnt your thing, we suggest two or three contrasting cushions- think one pattern one block colour and one textural. Patterned at the front and play with it till they sit right. Feather inserts make it easier and instantly better. Follow these steps and youll be getting it right every time. Trust us, your new bed styling skills will be more timeless and ever-lasting than any gobbstopper.

24.01.2022 Two things that never change in property are naturally its location, and the lesser discussed orientation/ natural light. The impact natural light can have on a home is the most crucial element to a spaces success, its make or break! Genuinely, you can put any amount of cash into your furniture and decor but if the natural light isnt there you may never achieve the look youre chasing. ... Often in a space where theres not a lot of natural light, people think they should keep everything white to enhance the brightness of the home. I have a totally opposing opinion, believing the best thing to do in low light spaces is lean into the moodiness. Paint the walls in a deep hue, install mood lighting and create layers and ambiance. @blackbirdwren from a home full of natural light & ambiance to boot!

23.01.2022 Did you know we offer a weekly refresh service for our part styled properties? We can organise a weekly clean, as well as coming past and ensuring your place looks its best on open days. Need a hand re-making the bed or dont have time to get the cushions just right and replace flowers? No need to stress, we take the hassle away! All our styles homes look immaculate week in week out, and we are proud to say our Auction clearance rate has been 100% for a while now, and you know we are owning that presentation is key! Get in touch and we can help you get to sold without the stress each week.

23.01.2022 We had an absolute blast styling this stunning family home for @blackbirdwren. The best part though? The look on the vendors faces when they came to check it out. Absolutely stoked, and so are we. We dont often get to see the vendors at their first viewing- we always get the amazing feedback which were humbled and of course rapt with, but that moment when they see the house transformed? Its bloody priceless. Theres only one thing that beats it for us, and thats seeing a big sold sticker gracing the board.

23.01.2022 We are spending the afternoon promoting self care to honour @ruokday. First stop lunch at @wolfonwatton followed by massages at @fifthelementdayspa. Got a niggling feeling that someone you know or care about it isnt behaving as they normally would? Perhaps they seem out of sorts? More agitated or withdrawn? Or theyre just not themselves. Trust that gut instinct and act on it. By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes youve noticed, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up. If they say they are not ok, you can follow our conversation steps to show them theyre supported and help them find strategies to better manage the load. If they are ok, that person will know youre someone who cares enough to ask.

23.01.2022 2020 | I have held off from posting a new year message as I honestly have been all but lost for words. It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we have brought in the new decade. 2020 has begun for many with mourning and great loss of life, land and wildlife over the past weeks. Our continued thoughts are with our heroic firefighters and volunteers who are working tirelessly to keep us all safe. As my family and I travel through the country as we have done on our a...nnual trip up to Byron, we have seen the haze take over this land we love so much. It has really effected us emotionally in ways I really didnt expect. We have as a business made the decision to donate $50 from every install completed in January to the CFA directly. If you would like to support the appeal you can donate to any of the below organisations. The CFA (Vic) The Salvation Army Australian Red Cross St Vincent de Paul NSW Rural Fire Service We will continue to support where we can and will be donating ex display furniture and homewares to those effected by the fires where we can. If you know of anyone in direct need, please contact us via email [email protected] I urge each and every one of our followers to please be safe, to come together and do what you can in our countrys time of need. @mattabbottphoto

22.01.2022 Fresh flowers make such a huge difference in livening your space up! Depending on the style you are trying to create, different blooms will complete transform the look and feel of a room. What are your go to pics? We love this bouquet we got from @flowersvasette

20.01.2022 Women empowering women - what a wonderful way to wake up this morning and see all of the strong, impactful faces staring back at me in black and white. I feel extremely lucky to have such wonderful women around me, cheering me on. Thanks for the reminder @simplifyme_

20.01.2022 When Jo our senior stylist needed help with making a killer breakky at home, we do what we always do - stepped up to the challenge and created something eggcellent. Always struggled with poaching eggs at home? Weve got you covered haha

16.01.2022 Guys, lets get real for a minute. Running a small business in 2020, its been a LOT. Theres been uncertainty, glimpses of hope, getting my pivot on, huge amounts of momma guilt, moments of pure joy, space to breathe and feeling like this crazy will never end. Basically, all the feels. What Ive learned during the last 4ish months, is that there are absolutely going to be things that happen in business (and life) that you cant plan for. There will definitely be things ...that are out of our control. And it sucks, its bloody tough and I wouldnt wish it on anyone - BUT pressure makes diamonds baby. If this year has taught me anything, its that with the right head space, challenges can be overcome. Just keep swimming Dory ha! Weve never been busier with design work, we have a tonne of projects nearing completion, were launching some super secret squirrel amazing-ness real soon AND my bloody bathroom reno is complete ha! Yes, its been a rough year, but Ive learned a lot and Im looking forward to what else I can make out of 2020. I could do with some diamonds lets do this. @fimimsphotography

12.01.2022 Our 360 virtual tours + incredible agents = SOLD during lockdown! If only we were allowed to keep shooting them

11.01.2022 Keeping it fresh and super relaxed for @bodonhomes. Styling your space doesnt have to be overly complicated. Natural materials (think linens, wools, leathers) and a neutral palate and youre done!

11.01.2022 Its funny how many different styling hats my team and I wear in a day. From super chic to earthy and relaxed we jump around to suit our clients unique style for design jobs as well as wearing our home buyer hats styling strategically with a homes target audience in mind. The common thread though? Quality pieces, natural materials, a sense of home and warmth, and our little signature touches that make it an Elvie property. This shot is of my lounge room from our branding shoot with @sisterscoutstudio. Styled by me of course!

11.01.2022 Contemporary workspace goals! This property has flexibility in spades. Styled by @elevate__au for @marina_condic @jas_stephens1923. This is 15 Bute St, Seddon.

08.01.2022 At Elevate were so much more than an interior design business, were a family! In the current climate, naturally a lot of small businesses are struggling. A lot of amazing, talented staff are being stood down or let go, unsure of what their future holds. Way back in March, I made a commitment to myself that I would do every single possible thing I could to ensure we were supporting our gorgeous team through this challenging time. ... Ive been hustling my toosh off to make sure our wonderful staff are supported just like they support us week in and week out. Its been really hard to adjust to this new life, but its been super important to me to make it work. Johannah our senior stylist has been my right hand for the last few years, and life without her by my side has been incredibly weird. I miss so much about our working relationship and the fact that I cant get her to pull a chair up in the office at a whim has been a huge adjustment. Were currently working on some back end systems and processes to improve what working from home at elevate looks like, because frankly the future in Victoria feels extremely uncertain. I am so so proud as an employer that weve been able to retain our full time staff at full salary and incredible grateful weve been able to give our casual employees shifts despite everything thats going on. I cant imagine this business without my team, they are the backbone of this business. As much as its easy to think a band is nothing without the lead singer, the absolute bangers dont happen without the drums, bass and a killer solo guitar riff. Im so bloody lucky to be part of the band.

05.01.2022 Today I’m feeling super grateful for doing what we do! Looking back at pictures from campaigns that have sold, and sold very well during the current climate, I’m more certain than ever that our styling is such a hugely beneficial service for our clients. Over the weekend, OFI and Auction restrictions were lifted in NSW, were confident VIC will follow soon. We’ve seen properties sold within 2, 7 and 10 days of styling recently, some sales before properties have even hit re...alestate.com.au or domain. I suppose my message this morning is trust your agent, trust the process, and watch what is happening in your direct market and focus on that. May the fourth be with you!

05.01.2022 When selling your home, having the right team in place is everything. You woudlnt choose an agent with no runs on the board, or a solicitor who had never practiced property law. Selecting a stylist is no different! Just because someone has a few cushions or pieces of furniture, doesnt make them a stylist. ... We are local and we live and breathe the West. We know your market, and exactly how to make your buyers tick.

04.01.2022 As the world adjusts to new life with the Covid-19 Pandemic, Elevate Studio has put in place several new protocols to ensure the safety of our clients, staff and agencies we work so closely with. The major service change is that for the time being, we will no longer be offering part-styling or integrated styling. That means that the only properties we will be working with at the moment will be vacant homes. We will be conducting all quotations and consultations virtually, ...via Zoom, WhatsApp or Skype. We understand that many of our clients and followers will be moving towards more work-from-home arrangements, and as such will be here to assist you especially if youre looking to set up a home office space. We will be releasing an offer tomorrow 25th March to assist people with this. Lastly, to our valued property styling clients. The goal-posts may have just been moved, but they arent gone all-together. We are constantly in communication with our network of agencies Melbourne-wide, and the message is consistent and clear: there are still buyers out there looking to transact, and we will push on. Clearance rates have remained strong since the local outbreak and the value placed on the family home, and most importantly the emotion in the market at the moment, is paramount. We will continue to style properties for sale, to ensure we are helping our clients achieve the best possible price in the marketplace. Emotion is what sells property at a time like this, and emotion is what we do. As a team, we are 100% committed to ensuring our stock comes to you clean, sanitised and our professional staff are working following strict guidelines to ensure we are keeping you and each-other safe. Lastly, we have been working from home except for during installs (at which time there is only ever 3 staff on site- all adhering to 4 square meter rule and 1.5m social distancing at all times).

03.01.2022 Sometimes its the simplest of details that have the biggest impact. We loved styling this space for @blake_hedley27 @hedley_perrett

03.01.2022 Before + After - I know you guys love these ones! Paint, carpet and updating light fittings makes *such* a difference, and styling of course goes a very long way. swipe for before

03.01.2022 Great agents + great styling = SOLD and happy faces all round!

02.01.2022 Flowers for Spring, how original! Miranda Priestly would be so unimpressed with my topic of choice today, but she can bite me Spring it is baby, and I wanna talk about blooms! Fresh flowers make *such* a *huge* impact in a space and can transform the vibe youre trying to create so quickly. For opens? Opt for something long lasting, not overly fragrant and touches of greenery. At the moment we are loving more sophisticated arrangements and single stems like the beauties we have used here for @bodonhomes.

01.01.2022 Super proud to have our styling featured on realestate.com.au and the Herald Sun this week.
