23.01.2022 Take care of business by doing the work, take care of yourself by setting business hours, shut that computer down and spend time with the people that matter most to you.
22.01.2022 Happy Saturday everyone, I love the weekends, each Saturday morning I do coffee with my youngest son, it's out time together, what do you do to relax on the weekends?
16.01.2022 Happy International Womens Day, take time out for reflecting on your awesomeness....
10.01.2022 Are you a Women Of Substance, jump on over into the group and promote your business, Wednesday is #promote day
07.01.2022 #tuesdaytip If you were to walk into a room, would someone say "that is the ...lady"? Are you known for something, does your reputation precede you. When you become known for just ONE thing it makes the decision to work with you easy, either they want it or they don't. This my friends is the first step in having 10K months in your business
06.01.2022 Today in my business is Financial Friday, it's the day I look at the numbers and see if I am on track to reach my business goals. Take some time out today, have a coffee and look at how far you have come and plan your next move, so you get closer to where you want to go. Sometimes we avoid looking at the numbers, for some it's because you are too busy and for others, it's simply denial. Be brave today, set a plan to get what you want, have a great Friday, Rhonda
04.01.2022 Does this happen to you?
02.01.2022 Just the other day I was asked by my Grand Daughter who is all of 4 years old, going on 21, what is my job. We were standing in my home office at the time and I said this is Nannies job, Nanny works from here. No Nanny where do you go to work at to get the money so you can buy things. That’s not a job Nanny that’s your computer. Daddy goes to work in the car to the big office to get the pay, so we can buy things. Umm I said. As Business Coaches we teach our clients... to be able to say what they do in just a few words that a 12 year old could understand, that way we know the message has clarity and attracts the right people for our clients to work with. This was my moment of truth, what do I do? She is definately not going to understand if I say I am a business coach. So just like anyone that was worth their salt would advise, adjust your message to the audience you are speaking to. So I said, You know how you go to the lolly shop and buy lollies (eyes bright right now) yes she says, and sometimes there are lots of kids in the shop buying lollies. (she’s interested now) umm lollies, yes Nanny. Nanny helps the shop people to get kids to come and buy lollies, so the lolly shop owner sell lollies and make enough money to buy things for their kids, just like Daddy. When can we go to the lolly shop Nanny so the shop owner can have some money to buy some things for their kids.. (told you she is 4 going on 21 and very smart for her age) Oh I’ll see how good you are and then we can go to the lolly shop. A couple of things come to mind: Take the time to simplify what you do, so others just get what you do, without much thought We still have a way to go to change the perception of work, even in our young kids today, working from home in your own business, is still seen as a hobby, you do when you are not working in a real job. Remember this story when you are next at a networking event, when you tell the room what you do, not need to overcomplicate, just keep it simple. See more
