Something I've learned and witnessed since I started out as a trainer in 2001 is consistency is king. Whether you can train twice or six times a week, the key is doing it week in week out! 22.01.2022 The sum of our choices in and out of the kitchen, certainly do add up! If you want to do something about it, choose to do it and keep on doing it regardless of how you feel on any given day! Do it day in, day out and enjoy the journey. ... It's totally up to you!!! Ps. Obviously a healthy dose of good genetics helps as well as a few other factors. But it doesn't hurt making choices that align with giving you the best chance of staying healthy and in shape!!!

20.01.2022 Remember ... so if your thinking about it ... STOP thinking and start doing! Every week I see new people just like you come along and more than not nervously do their first session. Then i look at them a couple of weeks down the track and I smile. I smile a big cheshire cat grin, at that once nervous person confidently smashing out a session. It is still the best part of what I do! I just love helping people get started and then helping them build towards and achieving their goals!
19.01.2022 Very true ... are you ready to find some time for yourself. As busy as you are right now, chances are in 6 months time you'll just be as busy. Within our EYL community I train a number of super busy parents. They have learnt that finding the time to make a couple of sessions a week is great for their mental health. It's great to get those exercise endorphins going. It actually helps them in their home life and energizes them to get through their busy days. 16.01.2022 High fives to everyone who stepped up and trained this week! Some workouts are more rewarding than others. Those days when you can't be you know what'd training but you still turn up. To me are some of the most important ones on the journey to achieving what you want! It's easy to train on the days when you are motivated. But the key to achieving what we want is making the habitual lifestyle changes that see us do what we need to be doing each and every day! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Doing this daily gets you focusing on the good in your life and what we think about we bring about!!! So please put good thoughts in!!!

How you would feel moving What you could do with your kids How you would feel in your clothes Out of your clothes!!! On the flipside imagine what it would be like if you don't start or stop training! How would this impact your life? How different would you feel? What would you be missing out on? It's not fun being on the sidelines. So choose to put some action behind what you want. But if you are not happy with where you are at then you can choose to make some changes. It's totally up to you!!! If you don't know where to start that's ok. We are going to be let back out in public very soon and some clothing options may be a little more snug!!! We've got everything crossed that this Sunday there will be a further easing of restrictions and we'll be able to offer outdoor face to face group training for up to 10 people!!! 05.01.2022 This is the mindset we want ... Keep pushing yourself all the way to the end of your workout! When your training if you get to the end of a rep range or the timers gone and you feel like you could do more reps. Make a mental note to lift a little heavier next time. Keep pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. That's how our bodies adapt, get stronger, challenging our muscle fibres and adding lean muscle!

05.01.2022 Adam a busy parent who decided enough was enough and in a matter of weeks turned his fitness around. Simply turning up consistently 3 times a week and watching what he ate, he dropped kgs, lost cms, increased his lean muscle and improved his fitness back to what he had in his 20s. Through his actions he's inspiring his kids, his wife and fellow members of our EYL community. He's also won tennis tournaments and back playing pennant tennis moving around the court like he hasn't... in years! All this came about from a decision to step up and have a go! 04.01.2022 100% Our minds are so powerful. What we feed it good or bad it listens to and will shape your . You've got a choice when the bad stuff comes in to override it. Choose not to listen to it and instead focus on 3 good things.... A great exercise is to write these 3 things down. It could become a daily habit. Create a good things list and then you can add to it. Imagine after 30 days, if you did this daily you'd have at least 90 good things on it!!! Another great exercise is to then read over this list daily. This would help fill your mind with good thoughts. Over time doing this practise daily will change your mindset. You want to feel like at the end of the set it's a challenge to move the weight or your body weight. If at the end of a set your not experiencing this next time around aim to lift a little heavier. Each time we push that little bit extra our body finds a new comfort zone! A new place to push through in the future.
