21.01.2022 Elevation Secondary College is excited to welcome Monique Petrone to our teaching staff for 2021. Monique comes to us from Strathmore S.C having previously taught Maths and Media. She is no stranger to Elevation Secondary College having worked here in Term 1 as a CRT. Monique is looking forward to growing along with the students and the school, building the curriculum one year at a time and experimenting with various strategies to enhance learning. She also looks forward to watching the first 'class' of Elevation SC graduate. Welcome Monique!
18.01.2022 At times it’s been a challenge to learn Chemistry at home during Term 3, but our students have done a great job and adapted really quickly to learning outside the lab! As a way of saying thank you, the Science teachers sent students some experiments to do at home over the holidays!

Liesl brings a wealth of experience and expertise in counselling, social work and disability fields to our school. She will be an amazing support to our students.

11.01.2022 This year we had students enter in the Parliament Prize Competition. This competition involved submitting a 90 second statement to Parliament as if you were an MP. The entries were strong and the students who entered worked hard on the issues that they presented. A massive congratulations to all students who entered. Jasmir Imran was awarded Recognition for Achievement in Creativity in the Year 7-9 category. This is an amazing achievement for this Statewide Competition! Check out his video below.
10.01.2022 The 11th of February is the UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science: a day that recognises the achievements of women in science. In the quest for gender equality, in 2015, the United Nations declared 11 February as the annual International Day for Women and Girls in Science. It is a day to inspire girls to choose STEM-related subjects at school and women to pursue a career in a STEM related field, as well as recognise the achievements of women in STEM. ... Elevation SC knows Matt best as a Humanities/English Teacher and 7A’s Mentor Group Teacher, but Matt also has extensive experience in the private sector before becoming a teacher working as a CEO, Operations Manager and professional writer. 05.01.2022 Today we welcomed back our students to on site learning. It was wonderful to see every single student back at school and ready to learn. We are grateful to see them return safe, happy and in many cases much taller than the last time we saw them!
05.01.2022 Our Leadership Team is expanding in 2021! Elevation Secondary College is excited to welcome Kim Calder as our new Junior School Leading Teacher. Kim comes to Elevation from Mill Park SC where she led year 11 and 12 programs and taught Business Management, Legal Studies, Humanities and English. Kim is currently completing the Masters of Evidence Based practice at the University of Melbourne in her spare time. Welcome Kim!
04.01.2022 Whilst our students have been at home continuing their on-line learning Ms Dempster has been very busy on-site getting our Library up and running. With hundreds of new books now on our shelves and ready to borrow, students can look forward to their return to school and having access to a wide range of wonderful new and exciting novels to take home. A big thank you to Ms Dempster for working tirelessly to make this happen.
