21.01.2022 "Brogden calls on Rudd to delay FoFA" Cant believe that there are still people out there trying to take advantage of the situation. Just becase we have a new PM (aka old PM), they think that we should delay the proposal of FOFA (Future of Financial Advice). This is just another excuse to allow the adviser to tidy up their advice process. In fact, all financial advisers should already be well on top on the new changes. Its all about protecting the clients and giving every person the best advice that is free of comissions, product and conflict of interest. If advisers cannot cope with the changes, then maybe they should move on. Financial Planning has no room for these type of advisers.

12.01.2022 Important Changes for Expecting Mums and Dads - Baby Bonus The Baby Bonus (BB) will no longer be paid for children born or adopted after 1 March 2014. Family Tax Benefit (Part A) will be increased to replace the BB for... children who are born, taken into care for at least 13 weeks or placed for adoption after this date. The increase will be $2,000 for a familys first child and $1,000 for subsequent children. An initial payment of $500 will be made, with the remainder payable in fortnightly instalments over a three month period.

10.01.2022 Received a call from someone who was thinking of setting up their own Self-Managed Superannuation Fund. What they did not realise was they would have lost 46.5% of their super assets had they not made a simple phone call to us.
