25.01.2022 After a tough 2 day hearing in the Supreme Court, it was so lovely to receive a message from my client saying "Thank you for your compassion, understanding and non judgement of me. Thank you for your time with everything you have done for me and my boys." I am lucky to have great clients who are a pleasure to assist.

21.01.2022 There has been a great deal of news coverage over the introductions of the new PEXA electronic conveyancing platform for the sale and purchase of land. Sadly, the news has not been good, showing that fraudsters can and do hack into our daily lives. Simply trusting what you receive in emails is not enough. Everyone including businesses and professionals are open to hacking and do get caught. We are all prone to taking the easy way and accepting what we see. The lesson learned by all of this is BE ACTIVELY AWARE, don't click on links, double check emails, and sms's and always call a third party verifier to check. Remember the steps: 1. Identify, 2 Verify, 3. Review . When in doubt, double check.

Congratulations also go to our wonderful PLT, Katrina Wang, graduand Juris Doctor, for completing her legal studies at Sydney University. 10.01.2022 In an update published on Friday 27 September 2018 on the NSW Government website, new laws are to be introduced by the end of 2018 that: "any driver who commits a low-range drink driving offence will be fined $561 and lose their licence immediately for three months. This penalty will also apply to first time drug presence offences detected on the roadside via NSW’s mobile drug testing (MDT) program.... First time mid-range offenders will need to have an alcohol interlock device installed to prove they can separate their drinking from driving. Repeat offenders will face vehicle sanctions, including licence plate confiscation and vehicle impoundment".
