25.01.2022 Whoa! Has it really been that long since I posted here? Well... at least I have a good excuse: This little lady in the photos (cant believe shes already 6 months old!) and...you know... ... covid-19. I just returned from 4 months parental leave, rolling up my sleeves and getting excited about jumping back into it when the whole country (world!) got shut down. Now were only allowed to leave the house for the most essential things and portrait shoots probably wont count. T...hat means I wont be taking any bookings until we know when were allowed to do shoots again. It also means that it will stay quiet around here for a little while longer since I dont really have much to show you here. I will use the time indoors to hang out with my two little girls and soak up all the baby cuddles. I am incredibly grateful and lucky to have such a big purpose to keep me going during this time. Because, to be honest with you, this pandemic is hitting me hard. Im not a mum with a camera and a little side hustle looking to bring a little extra on top of my husbands income (not that there is anything wrong with that). This is NOT a hobby. I started Elinlights Photography in 2015 (way before I started a family) with the full intention to make this a full-time career. This at the moment is a big setback - creatively and financially. I spent the better part of the month trying to come to terms with that and adapt. I ask you to please bear with me and remember that Im here and Im not going anywhere. Ill be right here when all this is over. Ill be here to document your love on your wedding day. Ill be here to capture your travel memories when the borders are open for holidays again. Ill be there at your reunion with your family from overseas. Ill be here to capture all the love and joy when we can all be together again. Until then you can give me something to do - and support me - by ordering an album from any of your past photo sessions/weddings and reliving those old, precious memories from your living room couch. This Finnish/Australian couple got married in Sydneys Gunners Barracks with stunning harbour views, surrounded by their friends and family at an intimate courtyard ceremony. 19.01.2022 Belinda and Guilhermes La Perouse wedding was such a pleasure to document. Everyone had a great time at this hot and sunny Sydney spring day - perfect weather for some beautiful portraits at the beach! 16.01.2022 Sharing this amazing wedding with you makes me so excited! I had the best time at Melissa and Joshuas wedding at Bondi Beach last Saturday. It was a little cloudy that day but I think it makes it just the more obvious how happy and vibrant this beautiful couple was on their wedding day. Despite the cool weather we had lots of fun feeling the sand under our bare feet as we were running across the beach trying to catch the last light of the day. Congratulations to Mel and Josh and many thanks for letting me document your beautiful, beautiful wedding!

15.01.2022 My brother in law fiiiiiinally married his beautiful french woman. They've been together for ages and I'm so happy for them! Rob and Marie originally wanted to get married overseas but then covid happened and that was that. In the end, they couldn't have asked for a more beautiful spot and nicer weather to celebrate their love. How lucky are we to live in such a beautiful city! Please prepare for lots of photos from their wedding because I'm OBSESSED with how beautiful their day was and how beautiful they are <3. Congratulations you two <3

Madelaine and Codys Manly Beach engagement session was hands down my favourite beach sunset session I shot last summer. 07.01.2022 Introducing my little baby Rosalie - 10 days old/new in this photo! Love her to bits . Im taking some time off from shooting over the next 4 months to focus on Rosalie and the rest of my beautiful family. That means itll be a bit quieter on my social media accounts too but Ill still respond to your enquiries (although it might take a little longer). Im back to shooting from mid March and am currently taking bookings from April 2020, so get in touch if you consider booking a session/wedding with me next year!

06.01.2022 Miss Rosalie is 10 months old and I’m starting to see the toddler emerging from behind her cute little baby face! Where has my baby gone . ...To be honest with you... it’s been a quiet year here at Elinlights with COVID and having a second baby so I’m focusing as much as possible on family time and hopefully next year I can share with you more epic Sydney Harbour sessions and weddings!!!
