14.01.2022 Undereye bags are a common problem that many of us face. In the right candidate we can make a great difference in their appearance with appropriately placed filler. 14.01.2022 The tear trough is the area under the eye where people often say, ‘I look tired’, or ‘I’ve got dark circles’. This area can be filled with dermal fillers to improve the hollowing and shadowing. The volume injected varies from patient to patient and overcorrection should be avoided. It is always best to under correct a little rather than overfill. Tear troughs are a complex area to treat and should only be treated by experienced injectors. Overcorrection, superficial injection...s, and choice of an inappropriate filler may lead to unacceptable aesthetic results. Aside from the above listed undesirable results, there are also potential serious risks. Although extremely rare, if the fillers inadvertently gets into certain blood vessels, scarring or even blindness can occur. Careful selection of an experienced injector can significantly reduce the likelihood of complications.
