25.01.2022 Expressions of interest for Puppy School. Saturday mornings at 11am. Puppy school is for pups aged between 8 and 16 weeks. The idea of puppy school is to socialise your dog with other dogs as well as obedience commands etc. I hear all to often customers tell me that the puppy school they went to allowed the bullies to be bullies and the timid ones hid under the chairs.This is not the correct approach ,and is very unsettling for the dog owner.... In my classes you will learn the correct way to socialise your dog,obedience commands,topics such as toilet training mouthing, crate training etc. A structured course is the best way to get a thorough understanding of the training.So it will be a 5 week course,cost $100 date to be arranged,at my house in bunyip. 24.01.2022 THURSDAY NIGHT 6PM BEGINNERS COURSE 11TH OF OCTOBER -29TH NOVEMBER. Learn proper socialisation and etiquette between dogs.Obedience skills and dog behaviour. Get your training in now so you have the skills and confidence to take him/her out into the big wide world. 24.01.2022 Great morning this morning for the first training walkies. We had a nice walk and challenged some of the dogs to sit in different places such as a picnic table and a bench seat which had open slats so some of the dogs were scared .It gave us an opportunity to perform the obedience exercises and also to work on trust.Which is vitally important in human canine relationship.

24.01.2022 Training walk yesterday .Classes and private lessons today.Beautiful day for dog training.I hope you and your dogs got out and did some training or had some fun today. This is luna who is just learning off lead recall. There is another dog behind the fence.

22.01.2022 8 weeks till Christmas. YIKES!!!!! That means we dont have long to train our dogs. I would like to a run a six week program starting on Wed the 7th of November for six weeks. Finish date will be the 10th of December. This will be the last class for the year. Time will be 6pm and location is my house at bunyip.... The cost will be $200 and will include a training head halter. The training is a reward based training method which uses praise as reward rather than treats. You will learn tones of voice to control your dog and obedience skills , and proper dog socialisation etiquette. 21.01.2022 Obedience course starting on Thurs the 24th of january at 6pm. Places still available. These dogs,the one on the left and the one on the right ,my benny in the middle,did so well last year in there eight week course that i took them to lakeside and we did our class there. There new skills of heeling ,recall, sit step aways,drop step aways were all worked around the distractions of other dogs walking past,kids,birdlife,swans and ducks. At the end we had coffee and we didnt re...alise there was a church revival on and hundreds of people walked past the dogs while they were in a drop and we sipped our coffee.I was a proud trainer for only working with these students for a short time. Would you like to control your dog in environments where you dont think you would be able to. Would you like your dog to listen to you regardless of where you are? 20.01.2022 Training Walkies. Sunday the 22nd. Lakeside 12pm. There will be a walk on sunday at lakeside as i have a couple of customers who are needing to work there dogs around other dogs. So if you would like to join in.Its a good place to train as there are ducks and swans and lots of people walking around with dogs. There wasnt meant to be another training walk so soon, but thats ok. Last time i was there daylight savings was just finishing but we made it work.... 19.01.2022 Next Sunday 10am group intake is on 9th of September.This is an intitial eight week course committment and then at 12pm for those who want to continue training can come on a casual basis. The cost for the course as usual is $250 which includes a training head halter and quality training.The training is held at my home at bunyip where i have converted the shed into a indoor training area and we also have enclosed paddocks for further training. 18.01.2022 A small group at lakeside today but we had good weather and lots going on. It is a testament to the customers who came today as it continues to amaze me the ignorance people have out there. We had kids coming up to the dogs without asking. We had one guy approach one of my customers dog right up in his face without asking and they dont even give a thought for a second to the person on the other end of the equation. If you are out in public.No matter where you are.You ask the ...owner first.Can my dog say hello to yours?How hard is it? People want society to let dogs go more places but with the blazze attitude owners have. I can see more limitations happening to dogs. I have been to cafes in san remo where there are dogs barking, people dont want to hear your dogs barking when they are out to lunch. When out walking dont just let your dog walk up to others. If you dont know how,then either dont get a dog or educate yourself what is required. THAT IS WHAT TRAINING YOUR DOG IS FOR!!!! Im not into routines on a field for obedience. I want people to educate themselves so dogs are more welcome into society. So you can keep your dogs safe, so you have the confidence of what to say when,learn how to read dog body language .You owe this to your dog. Sorry for the rant, but i was there once.Didnt have a clue,but the difference is i educated myself.I work hard to look after and train my dogs.I use a method that provides great results but it only works if people practice and listen to what is needed to achieve a well trained dog. There are no magic wands,quick fixes to train a dog. You as the owner have to educate yourself,take an interest in your dog and put the effort in. Every dog handler,gets the dog that they deserve.! Maybe you did puppy school,but now pups a little bit older or stronger.... Expressions of interest for a mixed class on a thurs night at 6.30pm .An eight week class,work at your own level.date to be arranged,but would like to start shortly. This course is not for beginners.i will advertise one of those shortly.This is for anyone that has done classes previously or have had private lessons,but would like to work in a class situation. Any enquiries please dont hestitate to ask. Pictured below is storm which i trained with owner approx two years ago.Storm has become a little challenging again,but when i saw him and he heard the warning tone.It all came back to him. Life can get busy and owners can forget the fundamentals,but it doesnt take long to get back on track again. 10.01.2022 Drop in Classes. Start this sunday at 12pm.This is for anyone who has trained with me before and would like to keep going but not commit every week. So if you have trained with me privately good chance to get around other dogs.If you have done the classes but need a bit of a freshen up. Come along.Sessions are at my house. $20 a session. Everyone can work at there own level.Some of you may want to transition off halter to collar.Some may work off lead.

09.01.2022 Elite canines is thinking about starting PUPPY SCHOOL!!!! For pups aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks as a rough guide. Seeing what interest there is at the moment. It would be monday nights at 6pm. Classes would run for an hour. Would include basic obedience exercises,how to use tones of voice,how to teach puppy there are consesquences for wrong behaviour, toilet training,structured socialisation and more.... All held in an indoor training area, where floors are disinfected.Puppies will need first vaccination to enroll. See more

A combination of obedience commands which is modified for puppies, on lead socialisation and puppy topics such as mouthing, toilet training etc. A casual class starting on Monday the 21st of January at 6pm .$20 per session. Classes are held at my place in Bunyip and the training method is a reward based method which doesnt use treats. Group Obedience Classes -Hoping to start on Thurs the 24th of January at 6pm as long as the w...eather is not as hot as this week. Any age of dog over 14 weeks of age can join in the classes. The classes are a structured eight week program for 8 consecutive sessions. The cost of the course is $250 which also includes a training head halter and lead. This course is a foundation course which will give you your basic commands on lead. The training method is a reward based method which is not treat based and all dogs wear a head halter unless they have no snout to wear one. Classes are kept small and are held at my house in bunyip. 06.01.2022 I love how the Sunday groups after a few weeks start to socialise with each other.People from all walks of life with different types of dogs. Just getting to know each other. The first photo was from today and second photo from the previous sunday group. Owners learning what is required to control there dogs and then being relaxed enough just to have a chat.Cant all be about the dogs all of the time.

06.01.2022 Had a very good lesson with lacey and family today.As i dont have kids,it is hard for me to know what they are capable of. Aiden who is ten did a very good job of teaching lacey pup the kitchen boundary today so i thought i would share these photos from todays lesson.As you can see the fridge is pretty close to the boundary .it normally distracts lacy,but as you can see lacy is listening to Aiden and mum is nearby for supervision. Good job aiden.

05.01.2022 Canine lifeline is some fellow trainer friends of mine.They take dogs in and train them to a high standard.The dogs cost more you would pay at pound etc but they have trained the dog for you.so if you are looking for a new mate.give them a call.diesel looks like a ripper.

During the month of May there will only be private lessons on offer.Sorry for any inconvenience, but jess needs to have a break. Existing customers who have trained with me can call for advice if needed,but i wont be taking on any new clients as of the start of june.

01.01.2022 All smiles today from this young fellow,who initially had a home where he was neglected and owners probably didnt give it enough thought when they thought of getting a working dog. He is a beautiful sensitive boy and his new owner is dedicated to training him and now lives on property. All is good for this young boy.just look at his smile and those big ears.
