24.01.2022 Commercial Plant Rooms do need periodic care and maintenance. This particular plant room required general maintenance after major roof restoration works and repair to the floor slab. Last treated approximately 12 years ago, the plumbing run offs and chemical wash downs over the years had broken down the coating and delaminated it in many areas. With this, water tracked to the below floor level soffit through cracks requiring the completion of reinforced concrete repair to the soffit below. 23.01.2022 Turn up the Heat! Our crew mobilised to the sunny North West recently and are well into their first swing Shotcreting specialised repair mortars for one of our clients. Scope on this structure as you can see is reinforced concrete repair to depths of over 200mm. Working in a systematic approach, we have 230sqm + to shoot, screed, float and provide a steel trowel finish. 19.01.2022 Elite Concrete Protection & Repair recently completed the remediation of a commercial Diving Pool. The pool was losing 50,000 litres per day prior to our scope of works and we can confirm our client is extremely satisfied that we completed the works prior to the end of the shutdown period and the water now, remains at maximum level. Scope consisted of 1,400 sqm of surface area to be cleaned, defect repairs including concrete repair, full sealant replacement, tile repairs/repl...acement followed by full tile grout refurbishment were completed. Works were carried out in 3 stages utilising floating pontoons and rope access for the larger vertical elevations. Access was restricted and works completed without incident. 03.01.2022 Concrete delaminations can be a major safety hazard whether on building Façades, Apartment Complex walkways or like these two chimney stacks 85 metres up off the ground. At this site, our Client had to close off several roadways as the delaminations were spalling off and dropping down to the ground. Although these structures are redundant, the impact on operations was disruptive and creating unnecessary cost. Our client engaged Elite to survey the stacks and make safe. Using ...netting for drop protection, battery operated jackhammering/cutting equipment, large sections of concrete was cut into manageable sized sections and removed by hand. Weather conditions were perfect for working at such heights. A total of 82sqm of delaminated concrete was removed.
