25.01.2022 Here is some great pole exercises that can benefit every horse. Great for building muscle and strengthening the back and hindquarters. The fan exercise is best done from the ground first with the poles flat on the ground and then raise them up as per drawing once your horse has mastered it. If your horse is new to pole work start with just two poles. Once mastered on the ground try it under saddle

17.01.2022 Have noticed the flies are really bad at the moment! I highly recommend you contact Monique Ella Hall to get your hands on some of this natural insect spray as it works better than anything else I've tried and is nice to know your not spraying harmful chemicals on your horse :)

14.01.2022 With all the flies out at the moment I thought I'd share this little tip that can help avoid costly vet bills with your horses eyes! If your horse has watery or weeping eyes follow these steps for 3 days: * Boil kettle and brew 1 black tea bag in a mug * allow to cool * using a clean cloth dip it into the cooled tea and wipe the eye (once only!) Then use another clean cloth or edge of the cloth and do the same again. ... * repeat on the other eye You should notice the eyes clear up within a day or two. Its important to always use a clean cloth for each wipe. Best to keep a fly veil on during the day too.
