20.01.2022 Updated AtSite / Latest Apple O.S. We've become aware that Version 14 of Apple OS in iPods is reporting an issue with AtSite. We've updated AtSite and are in the process of testing it right now. In the next few days we'll upload it to the iTunes store and it will be available for download then. We are sorry for any inconvenience. We're working on this as quickly as we can.

19.01.2022 Friday Funnies - Another Scammer Last week I got a womab calling to say my Amazon Prime membership had not been paid. That was after the robo voice and pressing "1". Well, I know I had paid it, regularly, and have been using it for maybe 2 years. This should be fun I thought. She said I'd been using it last week and needed to now pay for it, at about three times what I normally paid.... So my primary school debating technique kicked in. "No you have made a mistake" I said. She didn't like that and said I had made a mistake. So, "No no no, you made a mistake" I countered with in my best playground escalation. Her mistake was then to try logic to say her systems could not be wrong and I had been using Amazon Prime last week and not paid for it so I must be wrong. So I restored to the second most feared technique in my school playground, "No and a thousand times no, you made a mistake." Clearly she had never been to a school like mine so she was ill equipped for the ultimate comeback of "infinity times yes" - so she hung up on me. Maybe it was me not caring one little bit what she said? Maybe it was my witty reparte'? I got the last word of course by telling the disconnected line, "That will teach you to argue with graduates of MY Primary School." Have a geat end of week. Richard

18.01.2022 Nexus-WebEye Update Our hosting provider is updating the database system we use in the coming days. This is a mandatory change, we don't have any choice in the matter. We have a test server and have been testing the new version on this. So far it works perfectly. Reports, Events, Assigning beacons, AtSite logging beacons, data uploading from legacy wand system all works and works as expected.... So, hopefully the update should not be noticed. We'll let you know if any isses surface. ALSO, should you experience any issues, please contact us ASAP. See more

15.01.2022 AtSite Updated for Apple We've just had a new vesion of AtSite uploaded to the Apple App store. Apple required us to change the way AtSite works, just a little, so that it would work with the latest Apple operating ststems. If you were getting a message about getting the App updated, this will fix it for you. There were no bug fixes done, and only the privacy policy had a minor change to suit Apple. We do not store or collect any personal information, or any other information other than beacon, event and checklist information and GPS location if events are used - and this has not changed. As always, please call if you have any problems or concerns.

09.01.2022 I've worked it out!!! It's not me. Facemarks muffle speech. It is pretty basic suff. Sorry - you probably know this and are coping. It's just that it took a while for me to work out. I had a lovely lady client ring just now and I could hardly understand her. Her speech was muffled and 'flat sounding' but I was able after a few embarrassing repetitions to get it right.... After she hung up I realized it; all the high frequency parts of her speech were reduced or gone. Then I realized something else - she was probably wearing a facemask and that did the damage to the speech. I looked it up on google. Those high frequenty parts of speech are called 'sibilants' and are responsible for much of the intelligibility of speech. When they are missing, it becomes much harder to understand someone. So there. That's the google-reason why. The other problem with facemasks is that I have yet to work out how to drink a take away cappuccino though them. Maybe a straw? Enjoy your day Richard See more
