20.01.2022 The Government has advised that restrictions for Orthodontic treatment is being eased to Level 2 which would enable us to reopen. Whilst some procedures are still restricted, we would be able to attend to most emergencies and continue with your orthodontic treament (ie braces / invisalign adjustments). We are still working through the various restrictions and what they mean for our procedures and as such will remain closed on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th April, to enable... our staff to ready to the practice for reopening. We will be open from Wednesday 29th April and our staff will be in contact to book suitable appointments for families that have had their treatment rescheduled. We appreciate your flexibility in appointment times during the coming weeks as we have to operate under significant restrictions but will endevour to see all patients as soon as possible. Our new normal is restrictions on the number of people in the waiting room (due to physical distancing) and in the treatment areas as well as a health screen prior to entry to the practice. A sincere thank you for your patience and understanding during our closure. We look forward to seeing you soon.

15.01.2022 PRACTICE UPDATE @ Elite Orthodontics 16th Sept 2020 The Vic Govt has just advised the lifting of some restrictions on dentistry effective 28th September 2020. This would allow us to begin undertaking limited procedures from the 28th of September. We are in the process of triaging patients who had appointments cancelled in August & Sept due to the restrictions placed and will be in contact to organise rescheduling of previously cancelled appointments.... We appreciate your patience and flexibility (with regard to appointment times) over the coming weeks as we try to accomodate all patients from the previous 6-8 weeks. 08.01.2022 PRACTICE UPDATE @ ELITE ORTHODONTICS STAGE 4 Restrictions apply for Metropolitan Melbourne We have been advised late last night that under stage 4 restrictions mandated by the Victorian State Govt, restrictions for all dental services are in force which require the deferral of non-urgent treatment and emergency patient care only. As such, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our practice effective 7th August 2020 for 6 weeks until 11th Sep...tember 2020 (the announced Stage 4 restriction period for Metropolitan Melbourne). The health and safety of our patients (& their families), staff and the whole community is our first priority. For those whose appointment time has been affected by the closure, we are monitoring the situation closely and will be in contact to reschedule your appointment when we have been advised it is safe to do so and the restrictions lifted. 05.01.2022 While it's fantastic that some orthodontic clinics have reopened, it's important to still abide by these hygiene rules to safeguard the health of patients, family members and staff. Check with your orthodontist for any rules specific to their practice.

01.01.2022 PRACTICE UPDATE under Stage 3 restrictions The Victorian Govt has announced Stage 3 restrictions for metropolitan Melbourne effective 11:59pm Wed 8th July. Travel is restricted to essential reasons only which include obtaining Medical (and Dental) care. At present, the Dental Board and Federal Govt have NOT mandated any restrictions on Dental Services and as such Elite Orthodontics remains OPEN to continue providing our patients with ongoing orthodontic treatment and... care as per previously scheduled appointments. We continue to practice social distancing, stringent infection control, pre-treatment mouth-rinse for certain procedures and use of appropriate personal protective equipment @ the practice. We wish to advise you that under current restrictions and to ensure appropriate physical distancing can be maintained at the practice, please only bring your child to appointments. Treatment areas are restricted to patients only and the waiting room restricted to a single parent / carer only. Please make arrangements to have siblings / friends cared for at home (if possible).
