ELITE also acknowledges that during this time of social distancing that many members of our local community still require ongoing social support & continuation of their "therapeutic connection". Where possible, we will maintain our diagnostic & rehabilitative service, but acknowledge that these times require policies to be fluid & evolving, as information is provided by The Australian Physiotherapy Association & ESSA. 04.01.2022 ADVICE FOR NSW MEMBERS RE THE USE OF MASKS: With the tightening of advice around the use of PPE in NSW, the APA strongly encourages members to act with cautio...n and urges private practitioners to consider using a mask at all times when treating patients, even where 1.5m distance can be maintained. As previously stated, healthcare workers employed by NSW Health must wear PPE at all times.

01.01.2022 Today, the Australian Physiotherapy Association has asked Physiotherapists working in NSW Private Clinics to strongly consider wearing of surgical masks to further minimize risk of COVID-19 transmission. Although not mandatory at this stage, ELITE Physiotherapy will "do our bit" to optimize the health and well being of our community.
