Due to continued growth we have an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Plastic Fabricator to join our team. ... We require a quality focused Tradesperson with a high attention to detail who is able to meet tight deadlines and is confident to work unsupervised. Duties will include (but will not be limited to): Fabrication of Engineered Plastic Products, Poly Pipes and Fittings Interpretation of engineering drawings and specification Workshop housekeeping Use of Butt-Welding, extrusion welding and hot air welding equipment Mine Site Work To be successful, you will possess the following skills: Ability and competence with the operation of workshop machinery and electric hand tools (the ability to use CNC equipment would be an advantage) Current Forklift and Manual Drivers Licence Strong communication skills A strong and respectful knowledge of OH&S practices Willingness to work both autonomously and in a team environment Previous experience with sheet manufacture/fabrication; plastic or metal welding experience Ability to work from drawings unsupervised Able to meet tight deadlines Computer literacy Attention to detail and quality Punctual, excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to think on your feet A Standard 11 (STD) and a Coal Board Medical (CBM) or the ability to obtain these If you are driven, have a passion to succeed and take pride in the work you produce; if you have a positive attitude and possess the skills & experience outlined above; please forward your application letter and resume via email to [email protected].
