23.01.2022 Elite Squad Showcase!!!! Friday December 19 Mt Nelson Theatre.

21.01.2022 AND WE ARE BACK!!!!!!! DID YOU KNOW HOUSE OF DANCE IS CELEBRATING 20 YEARS THIS YEAR!?!?! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO! ......one of the many incredible milestones at HOD was creating Hobart's FIRST ever Elite training program! Elite Squad started at the end of 2011 with a vision to train amazing, technical dancers... To add value to their week to week dance training by providing an extra way to extend themselves. We commissioned a logo, uniforms(do you remember the camo orange two piecessss hahahahaha),had a showcase and blew everyone away! This was the first time anything like this had been done in Hobart.....we paved the way for what is now what we call the extension way of life. FOR US IT WAS NOT ABOUT WINNING COMPETITIONS -IT WAS ABOUT DANCE VALUE. ABOUT DANCE TECHNIQUE. ABOUT CREATING STRONG TECHNICIANS AND ATHLETIC DANCERS. WE SUCCEEDED. This photo was taken in 2013. These group of dancers were and are phenomenal. Some now gone on to full-time training and beyond.... 10.01.2022 FRIDAY 21ST NOVEMBER 9PM-SUNDAY 23RD NOVEMBER HOD is fundraising to send an exceptional group of dancers to Qld for the Showcase National Championships. House of Dance is once again holding an on-line auction from Friday 21st November from 9pm to Sunday 23rd November at 9pm. ... Items are loaded at 9pm and you may bid any price. The person with the highest bid at the end of the auction at approx. 9pm on the Sunday when the words bidding closed will win that item. We will have two days after the auction for collection.
